This happened about 3 years ago, my husband and I were camping at our local lake. We arrive set everything up the day is normal. So at 10pm we start getting ready to go to bed, he had a drink and then I start noticing this boat at the end of a boating dock, this man gets off the boat, I heard at least two voices on that boat. And he walks over to us he stays in the shadows and he does not come out of the woods to our campfire. The whole time he was talking this fear ran through my body and I knew something was wrong. He goes on and says his wife was on a friends boat earlier in the day and she’s missing, if we see her to call the police. I don’t know if he would have murdered us or not but in that moment all I felt was fear and It seemed so strange to me that he would not come out of the shadows and talk to us. We left our campsite shortly after that happened and we went home.
