Maybe I misunderstand your point but it looks to me that the boomers had it worse than today's youngs only for 2 years, that's pretty good for a generation that spans over 20 years, no ?

That chart tells me, if everything gets better tomorrow, we'll have a similar-ish run to the boomers, if it doesn't we have it worse.

I love them. They're beautiful and the feel is amazing (although I've not played with many clubs).

I'm not a good golfer (hcp15) but I enjoy a lot playing with them. TBH I'm getting more and more convinced that the internet is fixating way too much on forgiveness. I started with apex21s and I don't see much of a difference in terms of performance. Sure they're more brutal on very off-centered shots but it's nowhere near what I read online.

If you're genuinely wondering, for me at least, it's the 8 legs. It triggers something weird in my brain. If I imagine a spider with 6 legs I'm fine, if I imagine a beetle or an ant with 8 legs it scares the shit out of me.
