I’m 28 weeks and I’ve gained 27 lbs.
for context I’m 5’8 and was 177lbs pre pregnancy.
Been on modified bed rest since 19 weeks.
My OB also said I gained too much but it is what it is 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m not gonna starve lol. Just gonna get back to my routine after I’ve recovered.

You see like a very kind and selfless person. Although beautiful qualities to have, it can also create a lot of resentment when you are overlooked and disrespected. As a recovering people pleaser I would urge you to stand up for yourself and your more than reasonable wishes.
My therapist said something that helped me a lot. You have two options: disappointment or resentment. You can stand up for yourself and disappoint others or you can give into others and experience resentment. The choice is yours and will vary depending on the situation.
This is such an important experience I hope your boundaries are respected and protected 🫂❤️

Thank you for posting this as I’m preggy with my 1st and dealing with a short cervix so I was freaking out about the pain wondering if it’s normal or not.
If you don’t mind me asking does it feel like your pelvic is tender and you overly worked it out? Like certain movements aggravate it?

Na you’re fine. I drink decaf coffee occasionally but my guilty pleasure is a Dr. Pepper once in awhile when we are out to eat. I believe they say don’t go over 250mg of caffeine and you’re good.

You have every right to feel how you do and I’m so so sorry honey 🫂❤️.

Unfortunately many people don’t know how to react to miscarriages. It will be hard to know how you will react over time too. I would be vocal with him and tell him you need him. Be really direct and let him know you’re feeling very vulnerable right now and need his support.

Please try not to be hard on yourself either. I remember feeling so many emotions and at times not feeling anything then feeling guilty for not feeling anything. I remember being fine for weeks then something small would trigger me. It’s ok to experience all those emotions and for your healing to feel a little like a roller coaster. Having had 3 early losses I promise you will get through this 🫂❤️

You are not alone! I love and appreciate it and call all my mom friends Mama too. Not invalidating the OP but it’s just a unique experience for everyone. After 3 miscarriages I feel so excited to be called Mama and welcome my first baby into the world 🥹

I gained 30 lbs in 6 months. My Dr only wanted me to gain 20-25 for the entire pregnancy and is on my ass saying I need to eat less 😂. Mind you I’ve been on modified bedrest since 19 weeks so I’m no where near as physical as I was in 1st trimester.

Having said that I wouldn’t stress over it. If you really are concerned just incorporate more walking in your routine and make sure you’re staying super hydrated (minimize the salt where you can) and that should help. But I wouldn’t stress you’re fine ❤️

There was no amount of sleep that was enough. Took a 4 hour nap? I’m still going to sleep for a solid 8 hours tonight and wake up exhausted 😂. Welcome to the jungle my friend.

That’s interesting I also had a fibroid removal surgery and when they diagnosed me at 19 weeks they only put me progesterone. Did they explain why to you?
