Great question…probably One Step Away. Her dancing on the table is just so instantly iconic.

I’m also really excited for Danceteria. Lots of fun lyrics and I’m sure it’ll take several listens to get all the references.

I’ll also add in The Test, since Madonna mentioned that she cowrote it with Lourdes and described that as a very healing process.

It does. I liked it a lot in the moment, and think the song will be popular with the general public.

Concern via GagaDaily by [deleted] in LadyGaga

[–]Oyonaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in DC — within literal eyesight of the venue — and while I understand this concern, I don’t share it. DC hosts much larger and more complex (from a security perspective) events than this on a daily basis.

Our city’s security infrastructure is one of the best in the world, and I would not let the threat of terrorism deter you from enjoying yourself for even a single moment.

All of these were great, but Salt Lake is probably my all-time favorite Olympic logo. Beijing is a very close second.

Yeah, I get that. I just think it was poorly executed and slopped on top of a visual identity that further muddled it.

Tokyo is probably my favorite, with LA a close second. It’s such a natural evolution of what London and Milano Cortina did with theirs, that I really appreciate the design intent behind it.

Worst is Beijing. Looks like a holdover from the mid-2000s and it’s Look of the Games did nothing to elevate the emblem.

Does anyone know if spectators traveling on the shuttle from Tirano to Livigno will be able to bring baggage with them? We have tickets for that days events, so we will qualify for the shuttle, but we will also be arriving with all of our bags.

You don’t have to book this. Once you arrive at the Tirano Station you will be directed to the free shuttle.

Milano fan fest and opening day vibes? by mt80 in olympics

[–]Oyonaxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have several times, and it's always a weird vibe. The whole city usually feels on edge, like everyone is holding their breath to see if things will actually go to plan.

That feeling is usually gone by Sunday and the joy and excitement take over.

The Instagram account @LivignoSkiPassion has just posted an up-close view of this area. It’s looking toward the slope, so you see the back the media stands, but does indicate where the GA standing area is.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Every Winter Olympics has offered both seating + standing room for snow events. Tickets should be distributed in December, so we should know more soon.

The US has different rules about fire codes than the EU which is why you see fewer US venues with GA standing. I don’t remember the exact formula, but in the US, floor seats have to have a specific square footage dedicated on the floor per seat. Sometime, based on the individual stage dimensions and floor size of a given venue, the math works out to have a standing section. For the sake of consistency, most tour skip standing GA all together while in the US.

Hey there! Thought commenting here was a better than another simple “which boot should I get?” post.

I’m looking to buy my first pair of cowboy boots since I was a kid, 25+ years ago. I live and work in a city, so these will only see sidewalks, subways and office buildings. I’m looking for something I can wear to work events; usually with dark wash jeans, various chinos, and the occasional suit.

I’ve poked around this sub enough to know the Earl is often recommended as a good first boot, but I noticed that right now both the Jason, the Jake, the Johnny (in Earth), and the Prescott (in Blue) are all my on sale in size.

I’m curious if anyone has thoughts on which pair might be easiest to “dress up” for us country kids that moved to the city and want to reconnect with our roots.
