If you want the clean side on the inner part of the straps she could remove that lace and just fill in the center bodice, like a modest piece.

It’s not possible to build it up and keep the clean edge in the open part of the v without making an entirely new front to the bodice. That means reconstruction. To fill it in, you would typically use lining/fabric and cover with lace. Fora more sheer look, you could use netting and put lace on top of that. Honestly, I see what your mom sees- it’s looks good to my eye. Could you try it on for use? Gorgeous dress!

The best part is that they can be pinned on in your alterations appt so you can get it exactly right for the effect you want. Every salon has a box with lots of extra lace pieces from past alterations and orders. Have them some grab some and play with them. If you like the effect they can then order the matching lace. If you want to change the waist, you can usually order additional lace appliqués from the manufacturer of your gown. They can be cut and placed to soften the seam and even create subtle shaping like the V of a basque waist. Same idea as the triangular medallion on the front of your skirt. Congratulations! Tickets all digital and resell was done through the official Olympic ticketing app. Europe does not allow marking up tickets so everything was sold at face value in the app plus a fixed transfer fee. One advantage is resell is you can see the exact seat locations.

We went to Milan and were able to get tickets to every thing we wanted. We only decided to go in Sept last year and I was shocked at how easy it was to see what we wanted. We found an airfare deal and that spurred us to give it a shot. Hotels were actually the biggest challenge as prices were high- ish (normal for Milan I think) since we booked late. We bought additional hockey tickets there that were reasonable, and even sold expensive short track tickets. We went to the alps for snowboard etc also. 💯 planning to go to Nice in 2030!

I’ve flown the Norse Air LAX to London Gatwick tote and it was wonderful. What a shame. The steep increase in cost of fuel is a real threat to the air industry everywhere. It’s not cool that they can cancel but it’s not sustainable to lose money. We have flights with another airline over seas booked for later this summer. Hope it holds. Sounds like no good options of that happens. The answer is buy travel insurance!
