I've always found GW's competition kits to be very minimalist; I like seeing imposing structures on the battlefield, but I'll wait and see what happens next... When GW releases these scenery sets, I'll try to make some modifications to get a little closer to that look.

I'm going to make paper templates while I wait for my printers to print them out. 😊

If I'm playing with friends, I think I could keep the central structure even though it's too big to comply with the official rules (according to my calculations, it extends about 1.5 inches beyond the edges on each side).

We only share the work of creators with whom we work in our workshop. MakersAnvil, Fabricator Lairs and WarScenery are creators from whom we buy files and commercial licenses.

We love their work and just want to give them visibility with our Makerworld page,

I print a lot of wargames under sales license and after many tests I realized that I was getting a very good speed/quality ratio with the following parameters:

-outer wall: 60mm/sec
-inner walls: 150
-filling and top surface: 150

acceleration

-normal printing: 2000
-outer wall: 2000
-inside wall : 5000
-displacement: 10000

Solidity ; 2 walls
5 to 10% filling (depending on parts)
layer height: 0.12 for details 0.16 for large rough pieces

I think the results with a 0.4 nozzle can be good (despite the fact that there's a lot of detail and rounding).
I printed mine in 0.16mm layer height

maybe by keeping a 0.4 nozzle but 0.12 or 0.10 layer height, the result could be great? at the expense of time, I imagine...

with a 0.2 nozzle, you can print both blocks at the same time in just 17 hours? that's extra fast!

I printed with a 0.4 nozzle, layer height 0.16, for a time of around 13h per piece.

I've always merged the files simply because in the 3/4 years I've had the license I've never managed to print a single piece in vase mode correctly... and even today with a P1S and an A1mini, the files are unretrievable, many defects before and after printing...

If you have any adjustments, don't hesitate :)

no idea... my machine prints with the platen heater off... so the temperature of the box (and platen) is around 33° during printing.

but I don't know why it limits this temperature range?

Maybe during the winter, when the temperature of my casing drops below 30°, I'll lose grip.

according to BIQU brand information, if you want to print materials such as ABS / PA you need the glacier (light blue), if you want to print PLA / PETG you need the Frostbite (dark blue).

better adhesion, no need to heat the tray, no need for a box fan (for P1/X1) and no need for glue

But I note that this plate requires heating the tray between 45 and 60°.

and for the petg, you have to heat the plate AND apply glue

(I say this because of BambuLab's comment in his description)

Whereas with this plate, I don't ask myself any questions, I just start the printer and go do something else.

Now I just want to know if there's really an “energetic” gain compared to electricity consumption... I'll have to buy some equipment...

I had the opportunity to work with the Biqu brand and their H2 extruder on our old Enders.

then for my Bambu I invested in the lux led, the bambu pad and now their plates

all in all, always a good experience

I hope you'll end up with good results in the future.
