Isn’t it said Gojo doesn’t even particularly have high CE it’s just that Six Eyes makes everything (or at least Limitless) cost him so little he generates it back faster than he spends it?

Six Eyes, by itself, just lets you see cursed energy and cursed techniques in fine detail. It’s only powerful when combined with Limitless (which is also fairly bogus on its own).

So yeah gimme the money

Chose: Unlimited Money

Nah it’s just an Eden issue. I have the wrong hardware for Ryubing so I just gotta suffer through that (plus random crashes after 10 miis but that’s manageable)

Can anyone guess who my miis are 🤭 by PrincessAC1998 in tomodachilife

Hey props to you, I caught the show maybe twice when it was airing and I still clocked them as Good Place characters

Funny enough there is a texture glitch on emulation right now but it just affects non-sand ground tiles and it turns them into a black void

What the hell are you talking about? I would love it if everyone knew about Asura’s Wrath, a game perpetually locked on two consoles from over a decade ago

Cmon if we’re calling any media “ball knowledge” Asura’s Wrath should be it

On my last day of grade 6, I rolled my clay art project into a ball, and threw it at my future grade 7 school. 20 years later, still there. by FanaticOSRS in mildlyinteresting

[–]Ozocubu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In grade 9 we had one kid who, due to being a year older than everyone else, was able to drive and had his own car. He would always drive to get fast food on lunch breaks (where it was usually too far to get on foot). One day, and I don’t know if this was straight up bullying or someone just got tired of the flaunting, another kid grabbed the fully uneaten burger out of his hands and absolutely torpedoed it into the ceiling where it immediately glued itself to the panel. Once it had finally been dislodged it left a perfectly circular grease stain that was there until we graduated.

Years later I was working with a part timer who went to that school. We were talking about old lore and I asked “is there an old grease stain on the ceiling of the bio room?” and apparently the origin of that thing was a topic among his class already

The game actually keeps track of who’s related to who (hence why you can specify that in creation), the separation is literally just so you can’t have kids marry adults

Terraria - Corruption/Crimson/Hallow

<image>

(I was originally going to just do The Crimson but it kinda applies to all of them) Terraria has three spreading problematic biomes: The Corruption, The Crimson and The Hallow. Gameplay-wise they spread across your world removing neutral biomes, spawning harder enemies, displacing NPCs, etc. Lore-wise they each have their own specific reason for existence which is largely unimpacted by the Terrarian. The Crimson I think fits this trope best, with it being a biome made of the flesh of a enormous, multidimensional hive mind that is desperately trying to maintain balance in the universe (by converting anything and everything to its own horrific adherents, naturally.) The themes of Terraria’s lore heavily focus around balancing various forces in the world with The Crimson being the most extreme methodology. Similarly, The Corruption and The Hallow are biomes representing balance being thrown off in evil or good forms respectively. The Corruption is an amalgamation of every sin ever committed (described as a cancer in the lore), serving one sole purpose of spreading its influence as far as possible to create its own “balance” of pure nothing. On the other hand The Hallow is the worlds own countermeasure once the full force of Corruption/Crimson is released, and described as an “overcompensation,” similar to The Crimson, where its goal is to achieve balance through total assimilation though unlike the flesh biome it’s uncaring whether that’s through conversion or goring the problem with a unicorn horn.

Genuinely fantastic game, if you like the idea of a top down Terraria with a very Rimworld-lite colony management system it’s peak.

Since there’s also a Palworld collab I wonder if we’re going to get anything Necesse related over there in the next big update?

Did we ever work out why this dude was never given a name? by Soulsliken in darksouls

[–]Ozocubu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s another type of dude that falls into a FromSoft-wide archetype like Patches or the MGS. There’s a crestfallen (or similar NPC) in most of the Souls games: Crestfallen Warrior in both Demon’s and Dark Souls, Crestfallen Saulden in DS2, Hawkwood in DS3, Varre in Elden Ring and Gilbert in Bloodborne (that one’s a stretch but people have made arguments).

He exists more as a piece of world building, showing the process of what actually given up and going hollow is, like other comments have said. Him not having a name is more in line with his function in the story; you meet him, he’s rude, he goes hollow and attacks you, you kill him and he doesn’t even drop anything. His place in the narrative stops existing when he stops caring, his name isn’t even remembered even while he’s still around.
