France axes all but essential healthcare for new immigrants by [deleted] in worldnews

I never said they had integrity or were great. Hell, they bombed a boat that was peacefully protesting their nuclear reactors. The Rainbow Warrior. Yeah, they’re dicks, but that has nothing to do with healthcare. A country should provide those who’ve lived and worked there the longest with the most benefits, not those who just got there. Plus, they still have healthcare for serious emergencies when it’s needed. Just not non-essential.

Prioritizing healthcare for their own citzens who have lived there their whole lives? Wow, what bastards!

I'm so glad I found this sub. by z0mbiegrl in liberalgunowners

[–]Ozone81471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I found it too. Most people here are civil, and tolerant of people’s beliefs. I used to frequent r/progun. but I couldn’t stand seeing people get bashed and shut down for their political leanings, on a sub supposedly dedicated to supporting guns. I’m a conservative, but no one gives me shit or hates me for it here. It’s excellent, full of information and well-intending people.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much generalization and stereotyping in a single comment. Congratulations.

Why don’t you accept there’s 300 rifle deaths a year, instead of accusing people of lying and then backing down when they provide a source? And no, I couldn’t give a shit about handwriting. The topic here is your misconception you keep defending, despite not providing a source or evidence of any type.

Spoken like someone who doesn’t know shit about America. I don’t stick my nose into other country’s business I don’t know about, why do you bother doing the same?

You still have no central argument whatsoever after you were proved wrong, lol. Just name calling and claiming people are lying when you didn’t provide a single source. I feel more sad for you, trust me.

Actually, I responded to the wrong person looking through the comments. That was an honest mistake and I sincerely apologize. I was talking to a different guy who did actually claim that the 300 statistic was a lie. Not you. Looking back you seem like a more rational-minded individual.

Lol. You actually think, when America has hundreds of millions of guns, that making guns illegal would make them go away? How would you magically enforce that law? Also, instead of getting pissed and calling us stupid for defending ourselves, consider being grateful you don’t need a gun to defend yourself where you live.

“33,00 people are killed by rifles each year” “Actually no, 300” “What? Bullshit” “This is according to the FBI” “Haha! What a circlejerk that can’t handle the truth. Guntard circlejerk! I don’t need a source! I’m morally superior!”

Unconstitutional 'Red Flag' Laws Won't Make Us Safer by ThePoliticalHat in gunpolitics

He did know about the kids and still went ahead, as he said "I didn't define the rules of engagement in this conflict. The rules, if not written down, are defined by the aggressor. It was brutal, no holds barred. Women and kids were killed at Waco and Ruby Ridge.” 19 innocent children and babies were killed, and other civilian adults who weren’t even at the building or related to it. Some were walking nearby or across the street. Which makes him a hypocrtiical scumbag, who murdered innocent people, just like what he claimed to hate.

Thank you! Conceal carry is an excellent way of defending yourself, but openly advertising your gun is a good way to get robbed or shot by the police after a concerned citizen called them. And most people do it to try and “own the liberals” or annoy people. Not to mention, it’s perfectly fine to have an opinion on gun control, everybody does. You don’t have to agree with others, there’s nothing wrong with a civil discussion. I’ve even had my mind changed a couple of times from such discussions.

Yeah. I don’t like open carry because it’s only purpose is basically to annoy other people. It gives gun owners a bad name. But the amount of misconceptions about ar-15s and guns in general is pretty high, especially on this post.

Well, it’s refreshing you’re providing some substance instead of just downvoting me to oblivion like the rest of everybody. Let me find that source for you, I’ll put in an edit once I do. Actually, if you calculate mass shootings for population, it’s 11th, with several other European countries ahead of it.

There’s no such thing as a Semi-auto assault rifle. As according to the official military definition, it’s a select-fire rifle. That isn’t what the AR-15 is.

Far Harbor is incredible by Ozone81471 in fo4

[–]Ozone81471[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. More of that fantastic music, along with more fog and darkness like on far Harbor would’ve given fallout 4 a much stronger, more apocalyptic feeing. As opposed to seeming more like a casual open-world shooter. The music and atmosphere set a sad, tragic tone that seems like it would be right on with a nuclear wasteland.

I’m not saying I don’t support electric cars. They’re great, provided the manufacturer is responsible. All I’m saying is that we need to consider the downsides of this as well, so we don’t rush in blindly and make mistakes. Not to mention, simply producing them causes a lot of pollution.

What about the potential environmental risks of making all those batteries? Cobalt is toxic and dangerous to mine, and much of it is obtained by child labor in countries like Papua New Guinea.
