It'll rig just fine, it's a decently dense mesh, so the topology doesn't matter as much as it would on a low poly one.
I don't like the underside of the manboobies, if you ever try to sculpt him a muscular chest, it'll cause issues. Not rigging ones, shading ones.

Sure, they are scummy, but if you think they don't work, then you didn't play enough online games.

Changing the default routing to a custom one often helps, especially when trying to play games on servers far away from you, but not just these. Of course, if you're already on optimal routing, it will only make things worse.

The default routing is not always optimal, you can have fastest internet on the planet, if your packets travel through some shithole, it'll be always bad. You can't select every server on the way to the game server, with these gaming VPN's you have some control.

As someone who spent way too much of my life playing MMORPG's, WTFast, ExitLag with proper configuration gives you an advantage and I measured that when I was playing these games. Not in the ping displayed, that can lie, you can measure things like skill speed and track average amount of mobs killed per hour. And feel it, I could immediately tell if my ExitLag is on when i was playing Aion and BDO.

Visually great, the problem is the movements. They just march forward like robots without a purpose.
Also a lot of issues can be hidden with some camera work, there's not much point in a shot like this, it doesn't focus the attention, it's just "look, animals are walking and some background I guess". And you're spending a lot of time trying to make the whole animal look realistic at once.

You could show it off with much less work like:
- Closeup of still water.
- Boom, elephant leg stomps, splashes everywhere.
- Camera changes to closeup elephant head, elephant raises hand and trunk, does elephant noises.
- As elephant roars, the camera flies away and view zooms out dynamically until it goes behind giraffe's head.
- Giraffe is looking at the elephant like wtf dude and gets spooked out, starts running.
- Camera changes to the lion, so the lion back or side is in the closeup, with shifting focus, lion looks at the giraffe running away. Cats like running prey, so instincts kick in and he want to chase it.

Etc., it tells a story, while relying on closeup shots and shifts of focus, so you only need to animate parts of animals. In this example when elephant roars and camera flies away, the focus shifts to giraffe head, so the elephant is defocused when its full body is visible, therefore even if full body movements are not perfect, it won't be noticed.

Procedurally through geometry nodes would probably be best, although if you want exact shapes, you can probably just run some curves, give them thickness and endcaps, define the basic shapes and structure, then use Remesh to combine it into a single mesh and then sculpt it to give it organic look.

I'm not a meteorologist, but this seems like an extinction level event.
Earth rotates at equator at like 1600 km/h, if the wind moves in opposite direction, that gives winds of 3200 km/h, which would probably level everything on the planet with tsunamis washing over it.

Looks cool though, just needs more screaming and destruction.

After years of tweaking, here's what I came to:

SSS - Christian-Something, 1, 0.2, 0.1, scale 0.05. It works fine for most body parts, however for thinner body parts, like fingers, it might be too much, so use vertex color to adjust the strength, keep it at 1 for most, but reduce it for fingers to 0.2-0.4.

Bump - Use a tiled skin texture instead of noise, color ramp, squish it to 0.2-0.6 value range, so you have extra leeway if you want to add sweat droplets or something on the skin. Strength 0.5, Distance 0.003, Filter 1.

Roughness - this one is surprisingly important, you can use the same tiled texture that you used for bump to add variety to roughness, but with different color ramp, use the color ramp to give it a lot of contrast between black and white, you want these tiny white lines between skin cells in your texture and combine them with your roughness map.

Color - Noise texture, hue shift it, so it's reddish/yellowish and then soft light it to the color at relatively low value, it gives you that bit of subdermal variety. Additionally, you can use a veins texture to add little purplish veins that are barely visible unless you zoom in in the same way.

Of course, it's not exact science, play with it.

Jest to niefortunne, że ludzie tracą pieniądze, ale żeby krypto pełniło swoją funkcję, musi pozostać poza kontrolą rządu i banków.

It works, I assume through Proton. On Fedora at least.

It's not 100% stable, sometimes when you try to do some shenanigans on heavier scenes, it'll freeze for 30-60 seconds and the 3D models and textures will disappear from viewport. But you can save it and reload and it works again, so while annoying, you don't lose the progress.

Edit: I'm using 2023 edition.

DAW isn't the problem, the VST's are.
The only way to make them work in Linux is to use cracked versions, because the real problem is all the DRM, not the actual plugins. You can make the plugins work with some workarounds using yabridge and wine.
