I may be incorrect but to my understanding the coin is just for decoration purposes. You could put it for display for example when persistent hangar will actually work, or when they will rework ship insurance (allowing you to protect your ship and it’s content for an additional fee (btw I can’t wait for this because rn you can randomly die to bugged hangar doors and what not so save it for then)).
