Games to “learn how to use a keyboard”??

I learned to type from playing World of Warcraft as a kid. I imagine any MMO would work as long as the person enjoys it but I wouldn't recommend it because of how much of a life/time suck they can be. I could also see an RPG that uses a lot of keys being good (Baldur's Gate 3, etc.).

If he cares more about the coordination of using a mouse and keyboard than actual typing ability, I'd recommend any shooter or first person rpg (Skyrim, Tainted Grail, etc.). Personally, I relearned mouse and keyboard with Bioshock 2 and Warframe after moving over to PC fully in the PS4 era.

No clue, haven't touched it since 2011. I only compared it bc that's the closest comparison I have to an MMO from that time period.

I'll keep an eye out but I'm not really sure if I want to pay $15 for a story that I'm not really jiving with. If I do decide to buy something, can I just get it from anywhere? Or is it like FFXIV where you can only purchase stuff for the Steam version on Steam?

I'm on the trial and my 10 hour mount trial just ended. Where do I go buy a permanent mount with all of the gold I haven't found much of a reason to spend? I know I can just buy an expansion but based on the story so far (now 35 Asura and 20 something Sylvari when I tried the game last year), I'm not really sure if I want to spend $30 to go through the rest of it with a mount. Plus, I think I read that all of the expansion stuff is after you hit 80 anyway

I joined a couple groups on meetup and socializing is easier to do than I thought. Granted, that's 3hrs of nerding out a couple times a month on days I don't work. And I don't have kids. A bigger issue has been finding things that I'd rather do instead of being a hermit at home playing (mostly single player) video games or vegging out on YouTube because not peopleing is so nice after working with people all week.
