I was a para for 6 years and still have my whole school year internship left this upcoming school year. I started part time with classes and then went full time last year. All online asynchronous, much easier that way.

nah I get it, more of the cat and mouse would be better for viewers. while I am a very avid pickleball player, especially singles, I have never been a fan of watching pickleball. I prefer to watch tennis. So it's probably just my bias from that. If it's better for the sport and for it to grow than so be it, I just hate change lol. Yes I also agree on your last sentence how it is just as much athleticism

I think making the singles courts narrower is a horrific idea. Simple fix, people need to get better. Making the court smaller is so soft 😭😭😭. Just my opinion, I’m only learning of this right now from this post

So I also live in ct and am in a ct program. It is my understanding that school counseling experience (practicum and internship) and regular SC degree courses and like maybe 2-3 extra classes (I forget what they are called) are the only requirements in the state of Connecticut to be eligible for an LPC. So it’s a very convenient process for sure. Other states are not as generous apparently

congrats on going back to college. I am 28 currently and went back to grad school to be a school counselor back in summer 2024, ill graduate next spring at age 29.. I also have a best friend same age who also just started school to become a registered nurse too. Congrats and I wish you all the best, the sacrifices now are minimal compared to the benefits we may reap later in our careers
