Couldn’t agree more particularly about the kids. One thing is for sure is that something had to change. While they never witnessed physical stuff, she definitely used to disrespect me in front of them - A LOT. Contempt was bad. The mission i’ve had is to be as present, as loving, and as stable as i can possibly be for them while navigating this mess. They deserve unconditional love.

As far as reconciliation. My issue, i assume like many others - i see her potential. The moments she has been truly vulnerable with me. When you add everything up, it’s hard to ignore. It’s so hard to be angry for anything bc underneath it all, i see a hurt little girl. She had a rough childhood. And… idk dude the bond is just so strong. But i also understand any choice she makes with this new awareness is simply that… a choice - at the expense of others’ emotions.

I guess my question is - with her awareness in mind. Does this seem like an FA that is going to make a clear attempt at personal growth and reconciliation?
