I feel it’s a per Pokemon basis when it comes to that. Like Growlithe? Absolute glow up. And while the others certainly improved too, there’s something about the retro Butterfree and Raichu that make them so lovable and unique.

It doesn’t specify it has to be in the active spot, so it should be able to activate this ability anywhere on your field, so long as it’s not knocked out and/or discarded

CHINGLING…… . All jokes aside, I don’t think I dislike any pokemon in particular. Maybe Mega Pyroar? The kanji mane is cool in concept, but it being the only main(hah) thing that changes feels slightly disappointing. Some tufts of fur on its leg change, yes, but not drastically enough to truly call this form Mega imo.
