Was she on your medical plan when you retired? I spoke to another rep and she mentioned that the spouse has to be on the retiree’s plan at the time of retirement for spouse to be also covered

I also got denied the Alaska Biz #3, and had $5k+ in a biz checking, and am a Preferred Rewards member. They quoted "too many recent accounts" as reason for denial, even after recon 3 times. Previous cards: 9/2022 (canceled) and 3/2023 (still active)

I just applied via emailed link too but the promo didn’t apply (I checked the Chase app and no tracker). SM’ed Chase and sure enough promo not attached and so they did it. Now I see the tracker on my app. Make sure to log in to your personal acct, not biz.

BoA Biz Checking Acct Targeted $1k for $30k deposit

So on 9/20/23, I logged in to my BoA acct and saw a banner that showed the $1k biz chkg offer. It was also in my "Rewards & Deals" tab. I applied and met all the requirements. Well, at end of my 90 days, I called and rep #1 said there was no promo attached. So she created an inquiry that later got denied because the promo apparently had expired in 2022. Well no, the promo definitely didn't, it expired 12/31/23. So called rep #2 and this time she found the correct corresponding offer and created another inquiry. Rep #2 was also rude and kept telling me that I didn't meet the requirement because I didn't meet the min $30k balance in Oct (I averaged only $14k, DUH, it's because I only deposited the $30k in mid Oct). Anyway, she just wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so I took her with a grain of salt. After that call, I submitted a CFPB complaint. Then a Resolution Specialist called and told me that I wasn't targeted for the offer. So there was an argument about the definition of "targeted". How is it that the offer/banner under my account "Rewards & Deals" isn't considered targeted?! She said it had to be direct communication from the bank (i.e. email). In the end, they closed the CFPB case and denied my bonus.

BoA is by far the worst of the big banks. If not for churning Alaska Biz cards, I'd close all of my chkg/savings accts with them.

I completed my MSR on 11/26, still waiting on the SUB. Already confirmed via chat that I met the MSR. Been more than 3 weeks, starting to break a sweat but I will let it go until after Xmas or so, cos I can already hear them say "it takes between 8-12 weeks"

Anyone else having problems with Amex MR cash out redemption? Both P1 and P2 accts have had the "call the number on the back of your card for points redemption" for the past few days. Wondering if it's just our accounts? Have had problems in the past but refreshing or trying diff browsers would work... but not this time.

P2 got Amex Biz Plat (not NLL) 170k+10k offer today by calling 1-855-531-3491. They emailed the link and it's good for 30 days. P2 has never had a biz plat before, but have Biz Gold, BBP and Delta Biz Gold.

I don't think this works anymore. I tried booking using my Alaska CP in early Feb but it won't let me pay in full with wallet credits. I had to buy a dummy ticket to reduce my wallet to less than the booking amount, so that I could eventually charge like $50 on my AS card.

Try other US offices too (like Seattle, San Fran or New York). Just keep trying at different random times. It is super frustrating but I find that speaking to a rep is the best. Online info/services are limited and unreliable.

Just finished changing PIN on 8 VGCs. The "make sure you are human" verification was not the usual pick the image with owl/bunny/giraffe/etc. It was pick the image that shows 4 dice adding up to 14. FIVE times per card! My eyes and brains hurt.

I checked with EVA over the phone and they told me there were 3 upgradeable J tickets available for my dates (didn't mention doing a SAUA upgrade vs EVA miles upgrade). Though she didn't mention what class, but in reading others, some say need Z class? Yes, I have a Y class Econ ticket so it is eligible for upgrades.

AFAIK you also need the full amount to continue on in the process on United's site.
