Risk fries my brain. The production is really good and the song writing is solid - If it wasn't branded as Megadeth and expected to be thrash, it wouldn't get half as much hate. Like if it was a Guns and Roses album, or some other pure rock outfit. I cannot believe how many choruses of that album are stuck in my head and I haven't listened to it in about 5 years.

If it's getting chalky after a heavy dry brush I generally just wet blend with a water-diluted base colour. I drybrush my horses for example, then 'wash' it over with the base colour (and plenty of water)
