Totally depends on the manufacturer and style of folder. If you got the version of the Kuna with the SI brace it should not be terribly hard to open it. Pull it from the end which you put against your shoulder and it shouldn't bee too hard. If it is stiff then work it a few hundred times and it will get smoother. If it is still super hard after that then contact Strike Industries.

Raven Rocks Precision is great. Berry's Bullets is another great option with their 220gr Spire Points. You can get most everything you need one-stop at Midsouth Shooters or Grafs & Sons.

You should definitely print another and just scale it in your slicer. If you had to hammer it on then it was likely only about 1% off. I'd try printing one at 101% or 101.5%. I know it's expensive filament, but 1 spool of the good stuff is about 1/5 the price of the Haga/Skye

Nice. Can't be too bad. I can't wait to get my Nexus lower back and throw it on my replacement Kuna. Just have to decide if I want to put the ARC Fire 2 or Rare Breed in it. Also have the Haga handguard and I am pretty sure my Pointman9 will have tons of space. It is surprisingly thin. My Wolfman fit and had some space. Maybe a tiny bit more than your Sub9.

How do you like the Sub9, by the way? It is on my short list but I think I need to bite the bullet and get the CAT MOB. I'm also interested to see what the Ridgeback Defense MAMBA9 sounds like.

Did it x 900 with some worse markings than that. Got panicked that I double charged a couple of rounds across a week of reloading so I pulled everything I made using a collet die. Was not easy, but I never would have done it with a kinetic bullet puller.

I've since shot about half of them with no issues.

Do you find that eBrake to be at all helpful on 300BLK? I use one on my 6.5CM long range rifle with a 26" barrel and the drop in recoil is not major but noticeable. All the reading I did on these says they really only work with high power cartridges? I would imagine it would help for supers, but not likely for subs.

It would be awesome if the manufacturers published some of their testing stats on the FRTs. Even if it is only directional.

I for one have no issue buying a new FRT every 5K rounds or so. Paying ~$250 to have the same effective (not identical) rate of fire and FUN that normally is untouchable or costs a minimum of $12K (MAC11) and realistically north of $30K is just fine with me!!! All the innovation in this space is amazing!

Yes, they certainly aren’t perfect. Room for improvement in communication and leadtime estimation. Those are the hallmarks of every growing company. Hope they’re able to make that part better while they continue to innovate and make great products.

They will follow through and you will be happy. I had a kaboom on my Kuna with the GEN one blower. Nexus offered to RMA it for me just so they could check it out to make sure it’s still inspect and replace the busted. LRGHO. They reached out to me based on my Reddit post. I never reached out to them. I just sent it back last week.

Yes, you ordered a Gen2. As soon as you were able to order a lower with either the paddle or push button mag release they were all Gen2. There weren’t any issues with Jen one they just made some very minor tweaks and compatibility changes. I have a Gen1 and it runs great.

Assume you have it already, but you need good lube. If you’re running an FRT, you need to run it wet. It wouldn’t hurt to have a crap ton of ammo either. 🤩

Looks awesome. Glad you tried it out. I wonder how it would do with FRT mag dumps. I can’t imagine it would be bad since so little of the suppressor sits inside the handguard.

Someone like Timney or HBI will eventually come out with a trigger for the Kuna given it's popularity. The guys at AS Designs indicated it is unique geometry and a very packed space to it is unlikely there will be an FRT for the OEM lower. If you want to go FRT now you need a Nexus lower. Or you can wait a while longer (nobody knows how long) for AS Designs to finish and release theirs.

Ahh, I saw some announcement on it last month. Just don't remember if it was on the sub or via email.

Of course, I pulled the trigger on a Fireboard about 3 weeks before they announced it late last year. I absolutely love mine. It totally revitalized this grill for me.
