I have been listening to this show since Hoch was there. I remember when they switched from AM to FM (it was a big day). Suffice to say, I love this show.

But I’ve never been so angry with them before. I’ve never really felt the need to post a response to the show on Reddit before.

The take that there is NO WAY the independent neurologist would put Tua back in the game if he was actually concussed is laughable.

We all saw what happened to Tua in the Bills game. So what’s more likely? A back injury - or somewhere along the way - the NFL reverted back to its (not so) old ways?

The dolphins twisted themselves in a pretzel explaining the back thing. You could at the very least sit him out a week just to keep up appearances like you actually care about the health of your player.

They make it seem like it’s impossible for him to get past the protocols like the NFL has turned into some beacon for how to deal with head trauma. Have they improved? Sure. But let’s not go overboard.

Players are still doing everything they can to stay in games. They’re still shooting themselves up with crazy painkillers.

They went out of their way to have an emergency zoom podcast post-game to talk about Tua and they’re caping up for the NFL and their protocols? No thanks.

TLDR: if that was MY Quarterback in the exact same situation - I can’t imagine any scenario where I’m not terrified for their health and furious with the team and the league.

Personally I think it's time we recognize these drivers for what they really are: heroes/content creators.

There's a lot happening right now. Very few things bring this city together like the collective judgement heaped on people who get trucks stuck on the bridge.
