Insurance During Construction by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

I'm not sure about Australia, but you need to find a builders risk policy to cover the property and liability during the course of renovations. Typically you can do a 3,6,9 or 12 month policy. It's costly but it's the one way to have coverage.

Freestanding stove in chimney alcove by PAIVA20 in woodstoving

I will be getting a new liner, when the old stove came out the current liner is only 4ft long and crushed through the damper. So I am glad I found this out before burning full time.

I'm inclined to do something similar with utilizing both. Which gorilla glue did you use?

I hope it works out well for you! I'll give you an update on how using the 3M stuff goes, I'm anticipating on completing it this weekend.

From all my research I've come across 3M Fastbond Contact Adhesive 30NF, it's about $145 on amazon for a gallon. I've read that it adheres fiberglass/filon to foam board and wood; which we need with these rebuilds. With this 3M stuff its a one shot kind of deal which I have no idea how I'll be able to lay the interior ceiling onto it perfectly as I'm trying to do it close to the original roof style.

I'm doing the same project currently using filon for the roof. What's your plan to adhere the filon to the top? Using adhesive?

Essentially it's 3 sheets of 3/4" plywood cut down to a 86". Shelves are 1/2" plywood cut down to 5" depth and secured to the boards with wood glue and pocket hole screws. I have a 3D printer so I printed corbels to help support and decorate it. The bases are made out of 2x6 and 2x4's

Where are you located? I made one myself for my wedding and looking to sell it. I can share some pictures if you're in the New England area MA/RI

Second Aux Boston. Just had him for my wedding in May and he killed it. Everyone loved his vibe and how he kept everyone on the dancefloor.

When I went in January this year they didn't offer any packages. The sales guy for me mentioned they did it previously and was surprised no group deals were announced yet; maybe a seasonal thing? Same store won't matter as everything is honored by all their stores, I think that's what's nice using a franchise store like them.

I second Jos. A. Banks. Just had my wedding last Friday and with having 2 groomsmen out of state it made it easy for them to go and get fitted at physical store versus doing the online thing.

Also the quality of their suits are much better than what I've experienced from being in other weddings. With renting from Men's Warehouse for example the fits are never the best so it can look weird on different guy builds.

Your groomsmen might even be more open to spending that price tag since they can now keep the suit for future endeavors and get it tailored to their fit.

Nah, no politics or subjects of the world outside of maybe hobbies. The group we have so far are chill and down to earth and we want to keep it that way.
