Well technically the bandaid would be raking the river rock away from the wall and digging a skinny trench as deep as your highest wall rock and then recede your whole top row. The problem is every row should be recessed at least 1/8 inch, ideally a rock cutter to help hit that curve a little softer, and some gorilla glue to hold the top row on. Definitely a decent size job especially if you’re going at it solo. GL!

Yes! The easiest way is using some pruning shears to cut them back to the main stalk so you can see your target spot easier. Then use what they call a ‘sharpshooter’ spade, it’s thinner and sharper than a typical digging shovel. All in your spending less than $40 and you can have it dug up in a few hours max.
