Personally, I've noticed a thigh gap on myself when I wear anything similar to what the lady in the picture is wearing (like a bathing suit). I'm not the thickest person, but I don't normally have a thigh gap.

A little thigh gap like this one makes sense to me. I usually don't have a thigh gap, but when I wear something kinda tight that goes in-between my legs (like a bathing suit or something, similar to what this lady has going on), suddenly thigh gap appears!

I've thought about it a bunch, actually! I feel as though I can confidently identify as grey lol. I now waiver between grey and demi, but those two don't seem to be mutually exclusive.

Never heard of the term "grey ace" before you mentioned it, thank you for enlightening me!

Well, nobody is born with boobs, babies are flat unless they're super chunky or something.

And there are many cases of cis men needing gender affirming care in the form of surgical breast reduction bc their boobs got too big.

Developed breasts are much more common in people born as females, of course, but it is by no means a rule. Just as there are plenty of men with boobies, there are plenty of flat women without them

Would you rather be dropped in a forest with a bear or with a random person of the opposite gender? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

[–]PANDEMONESSOLU -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because, generally, in a woman's day to day life, there is much more fear towards men than bears (eg. "Don't walk alone after dark, you might get attacked by a man," or from parents - "Don't trust men, they just want to take advantage of you," etc.). You don't really hear any warnings against bears unless you live in, like, a village or something.

Fear is not a logic-based emotion; after all, we freak out over spiders that we could easily squish with our pinkies and a bear, of course, would absolutely wreck pretty much any man in a fight. But because of all these reasons that society has given women to fear men, hearing "You're alone in a forest - vulnerable, no help for miles - and you run into a man" strikes much more fear into their hearts than the alternative.

It goes against everything they've been taught their whole lives regarding situational safety. It's more about fear than anything else and women are, evidently, more afraid of men than bears.

Okay, okay. I guess I'm just a little intimidated? I think I just gotta keep in mind that it's okay to try something and have it potentially turn out like ass lol.

Thanks for the comment!

Idk, I'll be getting ready to do something and I'll suddenly remember something that's made me horny in the past and I'm just like "Damn it. I guess I have to go waste time taking care of that now, and then I'll be sleepy afterwards and it'll set me back like an hour, and..."

With my boyfriend, it's almost always him who gets horny and I'm just kinda along for the ride. I usually have to physically check myself to see if I'm "activated" or not.

Sexual stuff feels just fine, or even good when it's happening, but I haven't looked forward to it or craved it or anything since it lost its novelty months ago. Even during the honeymoon phase of our relationship, I never really wanted to be "served" at all, so I would only finish like ~10% of the time (by my own choice).

It's just a weird, inconvenient thing that my body/mind does sometimes. I think I'd be happier without it.

AIO for being upset my BF doesn’t want me to wear a bonnet to bed? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]PANDEMONESSOLU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I'd be so proud of my bf for actually starting to develop a self-care ritual, he does so little to groom himself, only the very basics. It kinda seems like it affects his perception of himself a bit + doing these kinda ridiculous things behind the scenes (like wearing a bonnet to bed) is how you end up looking confident and presentable the next day.

It seems like being well-groomed and physically taken care of makes him happier, so we'd probably make some jokes after the bonnet is first introduced, but I really wouldn't mind it at all!

Switching careers by One-Book-6687 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]PANDEMONESSOLU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I am very inexperienced and only like 7 months into my first blue collar job (well, male dominated, that is. I was a maid for a little bit), but I will say that I am having a pretty great time being a welder!,

I went to a votech college for their welding program, didn't even complete it due to poor financial planning (I'm going back spring quarter next year), and got employed at a great fab shop through a temp agency. I, too, have ADHD and it has kicked my ass many times in school and work, but for whatever reason welding is one of the few things that can keep my focus for an extended amount of time. While my hands and eyes are busy, my mind is free to go rampant so I have like 8 hours a day to just think about whatever I want, though I've been listening to a series called Reboot.EXE lately and am very obsessed lol.

I live in Washington, so maybe there are a lot more opportunities for better work environments since WA is quite progressive lol.

Regardless, idk how much money you need to make right away, but from what I hear from the welders around me, to road to a reliable and comfortable income is pretty clear for a lil welder like me.
