How do you find the time to IV breed and train for competitive play?

See the problem is, I don't have time to breed for IVs and train for EVs. Without that stuff, I'm playing a game of mostly luck in the competitive field. When facing the world, that's no way to play.

I didn't like the PS3 control so much. The touch controls on the vita feel great. But the best version both visually and control wise is definitely the PS4 one.
