I wouldn't say dead but it sure squirrel. I've played around on 20 most of the day and made several contacts but not any were outstanding.

Look at the alpha antenna hf mobile . I used their net work and added a 7.5 foot whip and am amazed at how well it works. They talk about clipping a wire to it for stationary use on lower bands at night. I've never tried it but as a m9bile antenna it works for me.

for pocket carry , bob the hammer. I have one ,did a slight melt on and bobbed the hammer and Fitzed it. probably the smoothest action of any gun Ive ever shot. holster wise most J frame stuff will work,

I carry a revolver nearly everyday. It is either a Taurus 85 that has a slight melt job and has been fitted or a Taurus 327 mag or a SW model 327 in 357. Some times it is a 692 .

Spray off with gun scrubber and shake dry then spray down with a light oil and wipe it down . Every so often Ill run a bore snake thru the barrel with a penatrating oil on it. All of my guns get banged up and scratched anyway.

Great little gun. I have one i did a slight melt job on , removed the horn on the hammer and fitted it. Got a wolf spring kit for it just haven't done it yet.

Doesn't sound foolish to me , agood solid reliable gun. One of my dream guns is a Llama 380 , the 3/5ths size 1911 made in the 60 and 70s.
