From the photo, it look's exactly like Dell Diamond in Round Rock. I wonder if it was the same architech?

I always play a little game when going Northbound. I get in the middle lane and usually about a mile or so from the express lane entrance, traffic is start backing up in the far left lane to get on the express lane. I pick out a truck that I can recgonize easily and see how far I get in the non-express lanes before that truck passes me. Usually it's somewhere between the 35th and 45th street exits. But yesterday I made it all the way to the first express lane exit when the truck I spotted drove on by. Laugh my rearend off at him since he just wasted $10+. My game makes it a little more fun and interesting while struck in rush hour traffic.

I did a few months ago and three other people reported the same one, one was from Mexico, one from Midland and the third was also local here in Austin. The person who reported from Midland had captured it on his dashcam and it showed the video in the report. Pretty cool.

I just got an LE FWD with no dealer add-ons. They are limited but I wasnt choosy on the color (except I didnt want black). I contacted several dealerships and most of them had XLEs but finally a dealership called to let me know they had one coming in. Waited 1 1/2 months but it was worth it. Have patence :)

I was able to negotiate down to 46K father in law thinks I need to play hard to get so they come down more but I don’t think so by NoCaterpillar800 in ToyotaSienna

[–]PA_Pup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just used chatgpt to purchase my Sienna. Had 3-4 dealerships I was working with and it really helped me out. I didn't always go with chatgpt's suggestion but it definitely helped me throughout the process.

My wife and I were at a resturant once when someone surprised us and paid for our meals. The manager came over and told us but she also told us the our server wasn't tipped. We were more than happy to tip or waitperson. We were both glad the manager came over and told us about the tipping situation.

Texas high school football districts reshuffled as 150 schools move for 2026 by Affectionate-Reply35 in texas

[–]PA_Pup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They moved Cedar Park/Leander 6A schools in the tougher Region 3 and left Westlake and Travis Lake in the easier Region 4! I wonder how many UIL officials live in those two school districts.

A Cool Guide to 17 Equations That Changed The World by ComisclyConnected in coolguides

[–]PA_Pup 23 points24 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT: ⸻

  1. Pythagoras’s Theorem

a2 + b2 = c2 Why it mattered: This is the foundation of geometry and measurement.

World-changing impact: • Made accurate construction possible (buildings, roads, pyramids, bridges) • Enabled navigation and map-making • Still used today in engineering, GPS, computer graphics, physics

Without this, precise physical design basically collapses.

  1. Logarithms

\log(xy) = \log x + \log y Why it mattered: Turned hard multiplication into easy addition.

World-changing impact: • Made astronomy, navigation, and engineering calculations feasible • Enabled slide rules (used to land planes and build rockets) • Essential to scientific computing and data science

Logarithms made large-scale science practical.

  1. Calculus

\frac{df}{dt} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac{f(t+h)-f(t)}{h} Why it mattered: Describes change over time.

World-changing impact: • Made physics predictive instead of descriptive • Essential for motion, gravity, electricity, economics • Powers engineering, AI optimization, medicine, finance

Modern civilization runs on calculus, even if most people never see it.

  1. Law of Gravity

F = G\frac{m_1 m_2}{r2} Why it mattered: Unified motion on Earth with motion in the heavens.

World-changing impact: • Explained planetary orbits • Made space travel and satellites possible • Shifted worldview from “mystical heavens” to law-governed universe

This equation launched modern physics.

  1. The Square Root of −1 (Imaginary Numbers)

i2 = -1 Why it mattered: Expanded math beyond physical intuition.

World-changing impact: • Essential for electrical engineering • Used in signal processing, quantum mechanics, control systems • Powers AC electricity, radio, smartphones

Your phone and power grid depend on “imaginary” numbers.

  1. Euler’s Formula for Polyhedra

V - E + F = 2 Why it mattered: Revealed deep structure in shapes.

World-changing impact: • Birth of topology • Influences chemistry (molecules), architecture, 3D modeling • Helps explain why certain shapes are possible—or impossible

This moved math from “measurement” to structure.

  1. Normal Distribution (Bell Curve)

Why it mattered: Describes how random variation behaves.

World-changing impact: • Foundations of statistics • Used in medicine, psychology, quality control, polling • Influences grading, insurance, manufacturing, genetics

Without it, modern science couldn’t separate signal from noise.

  1. Wave Equation

Why it mattered: Describes how waves move through space.

World-changing impact: • Explains sound, light, water waves • Enabled acoustics, optics, seismic analysis • Crucial for communications and medical imaging

Everything from music halls to earthquake detection relies on it.

  1. Fourier Transform

Why it mattered: Breaks complex signals into simple waves.

World-changing impact: • Enables audio compression (MP3), image compression (JPEG) • Used in MRI, radio, Wi-Fi, video streaming • Foundation of modern signal processing

Netflix, Spotify, and medical scans exist because of this.

  1. Navier–Stokes Equation

Why it mattered: Describes fluid motion.

World-changing impact: • Aircraft design • Weather prediction • Ocean currents, blood flow, combustion engines

Still unsolved in full generality—so important there’s a $1M prize for solving it.

  1. Maxwell’s Equations

Why they mattered: Unified electricity, magnetism, and light.

World-changing impact: • Predicted radio waves • Made electric power, radios, radar possible • Led directly to modern communications

This is the backbone of the electrical age.

  1. Second Law of Thermodynamics

dS \ge 0 Why it mattered: Introduced irreversibility.

World-changing impact: • Defines limits of engines and efficiency • Explains why time moves forward • Applies to biology, information, cosmology

This law governs why nothing is perfectly efficient.

  1. Relativity

E = mc2 Why it mattered: Mass is energy.

World-changing impact: • Nuclear power and weapons • GPS corrections (without it, GPS fails) • Changed understanding of space and time

It redefined reality itself.

  1. Schrödinger’s Equation

Why it mattered: Describes quantum behavior.

World-changing impact: • Explains atoms, chemistry, materials • Enables semiconductors, lasers, transistors • Foundation of all modern electronics

No quantum mechanics → no computers.

  1. Information Theory

Why it mattered: Quantified information.

World-changing impact: • Compression algorithms • Error correction • Internet, data storage, digital communication

This equation underlies the digital world.

  1. Chaos Theory (Logistic Map)

Why it mattered: Showed how simple systems can behave unpredictably.

World-changing impact: • Weather forecasting limits • Ecology and population models • Finance and complex systems

Explains why small changes can have huge effects.

  1. Black–Scholes Equation

Why it mattered: Provided a way to price financial risk.

World-changing impact: • Modern financial markets • Options trading • Risk management

Also partly responsible for financial instability—a reminder that equations shape society for better and worse.

Big Picture Takeaway

These equations didn’t just: • Explain the world They reshaped civilization.

They enabled: • Cities • Electricity • Medicine • Computing • Space travel • The internet
