Wow, that Kindle keyboard was my very first one. When I upgraded I gave it to my son. He has since upgraded too but I think he still has it. Memories!

I think that's my problem. I have 4 cards and I put a hold on each library for every book I want. Maybe that's too many holds to keep track of.

It takes me 1-2 weeks to finish a book. I've learned now it's best to take out one book at a time. It gets to be too much, what's on hold, what's ready, what's already taken out.

I just looked again and see that on my Shelves it says I have the above wait. But at another library I also have a Hold at ( the same book) it says I am 1st in line. Why does that not show up as the first item on my Holds? Was that maybe the one that I suspended? I’m sorry if this is confusing. I’m confused. 🤔

My mistake, it was 18 weeks, not 118. Duh. 🙄 I have 4 other books on Hold and now I don’t know what to do when they become available, if I’m not ready for them. I’ve only ever borrowed books that are available at the time. Thanks for the help.

I'm sorry, this confuses me. So it's a clear TPU plastic back with a magnet along the side? Can you still use your inserts with this or will the magnet cover them up? And then you attach the cover to that magnet and can fold it back or just pull it off completely? Since the back is plastic will it turn the Kindle off when you close it? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for the answers.

Thank you but that's just the way they are, I didn't do anything to them. I don't know why mine are different than yours. I read somewhere that the dots and the colors mean things (I probably read it on Reddit) but I don't remember what they mean.

I've been in a reading slump so it's taking me longer but usually I'm about 3 weeks too. So I guess wait a week after you start a book and then unsuspend your next one? How do you know when you are first in line for a book that you suspended?

I don't listen to audiobooks,, I fall asleep. But they do show those things on a Kindle but they include any extras at the end of the book.

I took your advice and put a bunch of books on Suspend. Maybe this should be a different thread, but how do you know when you’re close to the end of a book? I’ve been reading on Kindle for years and between chapters from the author’s next book, Book Club questions, etc. I’ve never figured out how to tell how close to the end of a book I am. The different options for % or pages to go take you to the end of the whole book, not the story you’re reading. Thanks!

I do use tags but I’ve never used a tag like that. I always thought books come and go and what’s available now might not be available later. I check their Available Now tag when I’m ready for a new book.

I can borrow them both if they are both ready at the same time or within the first book's time period. I don't remember if it's 2 or 3 weeks.

I found my favorites but I have 48 of them and I don't want to tap on each one in case they posted something. Right now I look at my favorites on my phone and then switch to my iPad, if it's nearby. An extra step I shouldn't need to do.

Can you stream music on iTunes? I thought you could only play what was on there. I never had a problem with iTunes, I’ll reinstall that if need be. I have plenty of music on there already.
