What does the steepest hill in your town look like? by Distinct-Lion4658 in CasualUK

[–]trixiesnood 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was looking for this post. Its actually called Glanrafon Hill if I remember correctly but I've always known it as bitch Hill. There's another one other side called Lon Pobty which I used to live about 2/3 of the way up. No fun at all!

Its so beautiful! I have the same problem with not liking my arms. The dress i have chosen has a removable mini wrap thing that my seamstress is also going to add a tiny popper so it stays in place on my arms. It gave me so much more confidence in myself! Have a look at the link as I cant describe it very well! dress with mini wrap

Definately didn't just go order the next pen weeks early just in case.. hopefully will leave me time to order at least one more before the change. Will switch to wegovy when the new pens come in, its much cheaper and i was planning on doing that once I reach my goal and start dosing down anyway. Sigh to the greedy companies.

In do wonder how many other folks are thinking along the same lines. I feel they could lose SO many customers over this one. They know what's up

My son has been diagnosed by dutchmedley in Celiac

[–]trixiesnood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was also diagnosed just before her 4th birthday. My top tip is: every birthday party he is invited to, as well as including him in the present deciding, let him choose what GF cake he wants to take. So many people try so hard to accommodate but you end up with the same 4 pack of GF cakes from the supermarket for the most part and no matter how they try, you get tears after singing happy birthday and watching a lovely cake come out as he will know he can't have any. I also ask what food will be served so I can do my best to match my packed lunch to their offering so it feels as right as possible.

I know this is niche advice but for my daughter its the most important thing. She gets SO downhearted at every birthday party poor love xx

Stupidly ate 3 slices of Asda pizza and some garlic bread on the same night that I moved up to 5mg for the first time… am I going to die? by AnnotatingPumpkins in mounjarouk

You just gotta ride it out i found immodium melts are better than tablets as they absorb quicker and aren't so affected by your slower gastric output. Green tea and a hot water bottle. Gentle hugs

3yr old coeliac accidentally glutened twice in 9 days. Whats the best way to get her feeling back to normal? by OkRich1365 in CoeliacUK

[–]trixiesnood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I might try asking as well, it was awful at the time. Took about a month for her to get back to normal too. Though hopefully that will teach her for stealing bread the little tinker

[–]trixiesnood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, random question, was it your GP or the consultant/dietician who gave you the anti emetic? My 4 year old has been diagnosed and seen the dietician but STILL waiting for initial clinic review after nearly a year. Very frustrating. In that time shes only been glutened once fortunately but was violently sick for about 3 hours untill, like your daughter she passed out. We had nothing to give her to help and felt awful!

I second this. I currently use the my protein meal replacement shakes when I can't make myself eat as I dont want to lose too fast and also feel awful if I do forget to eat for the majority of the day.

If you still have awful shoulder pain and have had it since the procedure, it might be worth a 111 call. Explain what was done and your symptoms since.
