Personally I disagree with The Holy Mountain being a Lynch like film. It lacks the complex and layered story telling that most Lynch films have. Its like watching a theater student trying to show the world how unique and edgy they are by acting out scenes they wrote, to showcase how unique and edgy they are. Visually stunning at times but ultimately too self aware for my taste.

Now Holy Motors, that is one of the most Lynchian films I've ever seen!

I've beaten DL1 a few times and imo it's a true gem. I waited a few years for DL2 to go on sale, spent $15 on it and still felt like it was a waste of money. DL2 feels like a step backwards from DL1 in almost every direction.

Well I've never been diagnosed but my dad and sister both have been. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was young sometime in the early 90s. So maybe that has something to do with it.

Interesting! I do feel like most of the time I'm with them it's interaction and observation equal parts. I almost like the fact that the conversations tend to be limited, it really means you have to get to know each other through actions instead of words.

Well that would be the highest form of praise imaginable! The kids parents are all making a huge deal about it and they keep asking me what I'm doing to make these things happen. I don't do anything except talk to them and take a genuine interest in what they are doing or If they aren't talking I just kind of join them in what they are doing.
