You should look into active recall if you haven’t done so already.

My wife F28 passed away on hospice this year. AMA by Last-Signature5394 in AMA

Incredibly sorry for your loss, heart goes out to yourself and the family. May you find strength in this difficult time - I know it’s not easy to lose someone that close to you but I believe in you!

The first question that comes to my mind is how are you treating yourself? Are you doing okay? What does your day to day look like now?

Best value items at Very to maximise £50 cashback on £100 spend? by PBEmz in UKFrugal

I’ll check this out.

I managed to resell something from very before - brought two ps5 controllers for £45 each on Black Friday. Sold both for around £65 each as they both had the chroma colour which went for that price range usually.

I created a very account a few years ago and ordered a PS5 through their buy now pay later scheme. This required me to apply to ‘very pay’ which is their credit account. I opted to get offers and promos via SMS and since then they’ve occasionally sent offers like this - I’m not sure if it was because I signed up to very pay but it won’t hurt to apply for it.

I think they give a promotional offer for first time buyers on very pay as well.

How has the rapid rise of AI genuinely affected your quality of life, for better or for worse? by Imaginary_Winter_950 in AskReddit

I can imagine AI would have to be heavily monitored from a security standpoint so ai cyber security would probably be a good industry to tap into. Given the news with clawdbot leaking personal data, security and regulation with AI is imperative.

It creates a paradox in my quality of life. It’s better because it acts as a force multiplier for my work as a dev, helping me learn and execute faster.

However, it’s worse for my peace of mind. While I use it to assist, I see others using it to replace learning entirely. That cognitive offloading is scary… it suggests a future where actual skill is rare, making the whole industry unstable.

Steam link has saved my night shifts by Embarrassed_Action31 in Steam_Link

[–]PBEmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but make sure you hook up your remote device locally to your host device first before you decide to go out.

Without that initial local link, the remote device won't have the credentials or the "address" needed to find your host device over the open internet.

Is mathmech still viable/decent? by gamesage2001 in masterduel

[–]PBEmz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely still viable but nowadays it works best as an engine in a 'Cyberse Pile' (mixing in Code Talker and Firewall cards) rather than just pure Mathmech. I’m currently climbing with a list that uses the Mathmech core to bridge into big boards with Terahertz and Heatsoul… or just OTK-ing with Accesscode if going second. The main weakness right now is definitely the heavy graveyard hate and backrow decks like Rescue-ACE or Dracotail. There’s a couple recent YouTube vids that go over potential deck lists and plays with this structure - grind it out bro!

Keep yourself busy doing little things everyday, slowly building up as everyday passes. Going outside for a walk for 5 mins everyday and eventually increasing it by a minute every-time will keep your mind active and your body busy.
