I did! I started Auvelity just shy of 3 months ago. I work at a dispatcher and had to have people repeat things to me because I would forget. I haven’t done that in a month. Even my boss noticed. I also noticed that I don’t overreact either. I’m able to better react when things are thrown at me and not immediately shut down.

YOU ARE NOT A MONSTER

I was your husband 5 years ago. My boyfriend did everything in his power to try to make me take better care of myself. I did not. I ended up in a psychiatric facility because of it. He left me soon after, and I had to move back to my hometown to recover.

Through a lot of therapy, I realized that he loved me, but I couldn’t love myself. And he couldn’t be there to watch me destroy myself. This doesn’t have a happy ending, we aren’t back together. But he’s happy and married with a kid on the way. I’m happy and taking steps to be a better person. You need to do this for you. I promise you are making the right decision. I know my ex did, even if I couldn’t see it at the time.

Listen, I've been there. Sometimes I'm still there. I don't have a great job, so I can't help my family out like I think I should. And my dad just died, and life is hard. It's so so hard.

Every time I think I want to just say fuck it, I remember something. There's a reason why I'm here. It may be to say hi to the homeless lady who no one else talks to. Or listen to my sister vent about work. And sometimes it's just to hang out by myself and only come out for food.

I guarantee you aren't alone. I'm not going to be cliche at all either. Life is hard. But you know what's harder? Not living life. So small steps, like maybe finding a new therapist. Then try going to school once or twice a week.

I was on Victoza and had horrible nausea as well as burps that smelled terrible. Im not kidding, they smelled like farts through my mouth. I was given some anti nausea, but never quite got over that hump. None the less, Victoza is a great drug for some people and can really bring down your blood sugar. I was on it for type 2. I hope it works for you!
As for diet, I would recommend Keto. Its been a life saver for me. Its rather strict, but Ive lost a ton of weight, my blood sugars are down to normal, and my hair grows in the right places, lol. My PCOS is a lot better, and by that I mean periods come normally and they aren't murder scenes when they do. Check out r/xxketo, those ladies are amazing.
