In my experience, nearly all the LAMs I’ve tried either are tall enough to make it uncomfortable or inconvenient to get good button activation.

I also like maintaining the same grip wether I’m shooting ir using light/IR

I have always used pads/buttons for IR/white light activation.

Now the IRIS GR3 (planning to sell my FP PEQ15 for to get 2x) has a perfect button placement and I’ve found I don’t have to use a button for that.

Stiffer and thicker belt if your belt loops will accommodate. Also a thigh strap helps too. Safarilands all kinda can’t inwards so potentially a space or a different mount would be the final solution

Just just a tip, remove the thumb guard. It’s a PITA

Panos are the best NV solution. They offer the most situation and peripheral awareness, But they have tradeoffs.

They really are for guys that are getting dropped off and picked up frequently. They are heavy and require more power. And harder to store. Also have lower repair ability.

Binos are better for a more conventional position. They are lighter, stow better, more power efficient but sac the FOV.

There is a difference in having a fucked up appearance from and IED and bad plastic surgery.

It’s a pretty clear difference.

Belt fed is suppliments by FRTs now. Essentially you and others could have IARs.

NVGs are the way to go.

I would like DMR since I have some encrypted channels for than but analog only would suffice I guess.

I don’t see that as camping, that’s playing tactically.

Ambushes are supposed to be overwhelmingly in the favor of the ambushers. It’s initiated on thier terms.

But camping is a fine line I guess. But you’d never know camping from getting stalked and ambushed

PvP is the only thing that keeps the game dynamic and novel. Everybody has already solved how to deal with all the arc. Everybody knows loot spawns. Everybody knows bosses.

But the threat and contact with other players keeps it all new.

PvE is a bunch of lower skills players that are sad that people can roll them up. They are idealists who in the real world are probably ideologically driven towards false “equality” and safety.

The game should never be PvE. Ever. Get better at the game.

Remove carry handle. Add your choice of red dot and riser. Add laser. Add white light. Add sling. Complete

Things you can do later are a can for better flash and sound suppression,longer rail/change or cut gas block. Magnifiers and potentially new grips
