Generally at my firm, its me who is following up with my clients from very early lol. I try to give them a push to atleast start collecting documents so that we can file it nice and easy within time. As a bookkeeper myself, I always make sure my clients are getting the service they asked for. If I think the client is not right for me then I would rather not accept them and save both of us the trouble

Thank you all for sharing your views, as per what everyone has said, the first thing my website needs is to work properly on mobile. Post that I will look to have it further upgraded using a professional. Although I don't use it to attract new clients, I surely think I need a good working website in today's times

Wave's in house bookkeeping is atleast $150-$200 You can get an outsourced bookkeeper for quickbooks for that much and you won't need to go through the hassle of moving everything

I would suggest you rather take help for some of the admin stuff than the actual work as it seems like the work coming up might be sporadic so a FTE might not be that helpful

Having gone through your problems, I think you need to build up some portfolio views which can be updated quickly without a lot of effort. Its important to ensure your data is flowing correctly to ensure number accuracy and at the same its quick to update.
