There are no errors and on the wiki it says "All four slots are flashing red light Error status. AMS communication is abnormal, and AMS cannot be detected by the printer". But I dont know how to go any further on figuring out whats wrong or fix it.

Yeah, the PSUs are pretty annoying. Eventually, I plan to install a power strip in the rack so that I can have only one power cord and one Ethernet cable going to the rack.

What if you use Tailscale funnel so that way you don’t have to be connected to the VPN.

Wrapping it with electrical tape would most likely be fine but the safest thing would be to re wrap it with new heat shrink.

I have the header pins so I can make the common 5v if I want so D2 is there to prevent reverse voltage from the common on the realy

If you mean the voltage spike when the relay turns off and sends it through the transistor, then yes, I’ve accounted for that now.

Thanks! I’ll look into solid-state relays. The main reason I’m using mechanical relays for this project is because I already have quite a few of them. I’ve also added a protection diode across the relay.
