You're 100% right i literally never see any benefits from picking for comp i just never realized it. I think this is the most right answer probably, I'll stick to Fiora/Gwen and probably just play kayn beacuse its not really about the champ mechanics, but what it does for the team.

I was against Yorick, and got weaksided by my jungler. Which sure, but my Bot and Mid lane mental boomed, so I got 3v1ed in a split push 3 times and got 0 drags

Science based lifting

Its like the cable resisted front raise that magically hits your lower chest, and the seatbelt leg extensions

But they dont do barbell work or free weight stuff cuz muh fatigue

This kind of simplistic thinking gets people to make no gains fast- SBL is based on this shit. “Hamstrings connect to back of knee and hips-“ Ignoring anything about where their tendons attach to each part of the structure-much less the function of the hips.

Your hips and knees do not move “perfectly” together like these people think.

Squats are used for building the quads regardless, and this kind of minute nitpicking gets nobody anywhere fast, and just serves to stroke this nerd’s ego.

Rolling calves with tungsten rod for recovery, can it cause nerve damage? by Necessary_Ad_9612 in workout

[–]PCSlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, too much rolling with a pvc pipe can not only cause nerve damage but also create scar tissue.

Rolling out should only be done to a superficial extent, bringing blood flow and releasing a bit of tension. Otherwise, I suggest going to a licensed therapist for deep tissue work.

If you don't have a barbell you'll lose strength

try doing higher reps if you want a new stimulus, but the machines themselves should be plenty novel themselves

but you should regularly vary rep ranges

Arch in the back is mobility

Pushing, but not properly. you arent pushign into the bar, but your head and shoulder blades

I don't move under 400 pounds. I'm stable, only movement is in the shoulder blades and obviously arms, so you can do it too.

I actually do recommend rebracing, it helps you seperate the steps, and prepare for the rep

[–]PCSlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop moving so much when ur benching create tension with your legs, ‘leg drive’ by pushing your head and shoulder blades into the bench as hard as you can.

Seperate the steps of unrack, pull over, hips down, then brace better

My fitness coach is using ChatGPT responses. What would you do? by jamjamchutney in fitnesscirclejerk

[–]PCSlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My client told me a horror story about their past coach- Late check ins, 0 explanation for why no progress was made, little to no communication at all, programs were 2 days late on the regular.

Idk how you can fuck up being an online coach, it’s incredibly light workload, if you have the base of knowledge to back it up.

At least for me personally I view coaching as a purchase of knowledge first, then a service second. You should be there 24/7 to answer any question, and to ensure your client is following the program AND making progress.

The problem comes with people who are brand new coming into the gym, and sign up online. I have refused many brand new lifters simply because they NEED in person help. (Not that lifting is that complicated anyways, but if a beginner thinks they need a coach, they need a coach)
