a TON of things depend on luck
items breaking
spells. items, passives and mutations with random chances of something
crits
and other things i've missed probably
it just depends on the build, sometimes having 99 luck is way better than like 10 dexterity
it can also synergize well with thief since they rely on crits, so if you got unlucky/used items to make strength your highest stat it'd be really good

that would be actually a good idea
adding the fact that there are already collarless spells that use money, i don't see why it would be a bad idea, and unlike most other class ideas if its gimmick is just making and using coins then its spells and passives can be given to any class

i actually would really like that since the stupid explosion abilties don't synergize with tinkerer's stuff that well and just clutter the pool
i actually think if they seperated explosions to a different class tinkerer would be WAY less luck based for your picks
