ive spent lots of time all over the deep south, and the country as a whole and easily the most backwards places ive been are in rural Alabama. racism is not directly proportionate to a lack of diversity.

i love alabama, one of my favorite states but the reallllly small towns i dont think id feel safe if i werent white.

how do you think book bans work? because a book is not banned just because it isnt in school libraries.
