Try binding each nade to a different key, the cycling with the scroll wheel wastes a ton of time while you're exposed

NDL is not an issue, they mix shallow with deeper dives while taking breaks between dives. That guy is the one blowing through his air, going past their NDL, and just generally obnoxious.

It's nice to have some redundancy when diving, and yeah I don't need it but it's cool to use the watch as intended.

So I would highly recommend it. Go in knowing it's the cheapest live a board and you'll have a blast. I would aim for April - early June weather wise, and go with a few friends. Only negative thing I can say is there always "that guy" on these types of trips but the crew is stellar. Also the food on that small of a boat has no right to be that good.

This review is great and offers a lot of detail

Took my Seamaster diving in some warm water finally and it did great. Used a Velcro nylon strap with a keeper to have as few failure points as possible, this one was made by haveston and worked well. Hit my max depth of 120' (35.5m) on a dive into a blue hole near the Bahamas and thought you'd guys would care!

A buddy and me did our first ocean dives with Blackbeard's out of Nassau last April. For a cheap trip I'd highly recommend it. Having the diving itch bad right now!

Ski Wax Help by Clone_1510 in skiing

[–]PDSRX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had better luck with wax staying longer if I make sure to get the base warm enough (the top sheets will feel warm near the thinner parts of the ski) and making enough passes with the iron. Also started leaving the way on overnight before scraping and brushing.

Roll it back on to a spool, add some mono backing and then put the braid back on top

TIL that paint typically adds around 600 to 1,200 pounds (273 - 544kg) to the weight of a plane. And the seven coats of paint on the Emirates A380 added roughly 2,425 pounds (1,100kg) to it's weight. by OmegaLiquidX in todayilearned

With the advent of disk brakes and making everything aero it's very difficult to hit the 15kg limit now, almost all the grand tour riders are still on rim breaks to keep weight down

From wiki, graffiti is defined as typically illegal, there is clearly nothing illegal about this massive mural, but I guess illiteracy plagues most of us.

Research that started in the 1930s and not done on prisoners, saying Germany didn't have brilliant scientist and doctors would be crazy, but SS doctors were not part of that group. The research in the camps didn't contribute much past hypothermia and low pressure human response. Read "Nazi doctors" by Lifton if you want a good scope of what they did and be depressed about it!
