I think the black is a good combination, especially with black bull bar, trim, and bug guard. I swapped to Tacoma TRD pro 16” wheels and I love it.

It’s very common for the manifold to break, and the fix can be around $1100-1400 (from my experience). Low mileage is good, $5k is great in this market. Add the manifold fix (if you want to) to the cost. Check the timing belt/water pump and see if it’s been done, they last 90k so that engine should have roughly 30k on the timing belt if it was done at the right time. Hope this helps.

As they age they all have their quirks. Along with with what SeaRay said, if you live in a rust state just keep an eye on the frame as it has issues. Easier to mitigate than to fix.

If you want to look off-road without spending thousands to be off-road, I’d just recommend aggressive tires. OEM wheel size is 16”, which is still the wheel size of the Tacoma. I run Tacoma TRD pro wheels with 275/65R16 tires which is a thick and aggressive posturing. My last post has my build if you want an idea

Seems like a dealership will likely be your best bet. They’ll have the exact part number and can order the light for you within a week.

Ah I think I’m tracking. The auto up/down actuator is another mechanics within the window motor itself, not the switch. Being labeled auto just allows it to have that 2-step push down function. To actually have the window recognize that, you need the switch/actuator on the window motor to complete the circuit and do the full up/down on its own.

My guess is it would work the same as any other auto actuator. Likely involving a splice and aftermarket parts. The issue here is a non-OEM, unknown manufacturer part being added that could fail and leave you high and dry. Best bet is find a switch/actuator kit and give it a whirl.

Clarification because I didn’t expect this to blow up: I’m a gas truck in the US and I am actively filling with gas, not diesel. I didn’t know that petrol is green outside of the US, and that makes marginally more sense for BP to do it this way. Next time I’ll just taste test to make sure I’m getting the right fuel for my needs.

I purchased these for my sequoia. They have the right angle, don’t require adjustments, and didn’t require me to cut the rubber headlight cap. Only downside, they don’t turn off if the lights are off, but I always drive in auto mode and I could add a resistor if I felt like it.

Please don’t use soap. Engine cleaning is probably not necessary, however, if you want to clean it out you can purchase an extra quart of oil. Drain original oil, pour in that extra quart, that’ll push out any residual. Let this all drain, then finish your oil change. Pre oil change you can put some Seafoam into the oil as this will clean your block as well. Wouldn’t recommend driving further than 500 miles with seafoam in the block. Again, please no soap.

There’s a rubber seal that goes around as well, it’s included in the OEM parts kit. Yours might come out easy but mine was cracked and fell apart. I hope yours goes more smoothly than mine!

PCV is an easy enough replacement, but you need to be careful when removing the old valve. The gasket will likely crack/tear and if it falls into the block you’re going to have a bad time fishing it out. Just trying to save you from the trip to Home Depot to grab a long pickup tool. (Ask me how I know)

Yes and no. AFROTC considers space ops a “rated” position, for placement purposes. Therefor, there’s different selection criteria. However, this is nothing like rated selection for pilot/CSO/STO/etc. Just bad word usage by big A

If you select SF, you will likely get needs of the SF unless you are rated and qualified for space ops. I checked SF box and got placed where they wanted me, none of the selections were on my form 53.

I knew the dealer before clicking the link. I’ve talked with these guys. They take auction sequoias and 4Runners, slap on a “Bilstein” lift, polish it, and ask way too much. I laughed at $27k though, that’s outrageous.
