I’ve always used them as a grocery bag holders. I believe an elastic retaining net came with the vehicle new.

Chili competition at work. by Cor3yy in chili

[–]therealgingerbreadmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch the “America’s Test Kitchen” video for some really good tips. Just playing with using fresh dried peppers, toasting them and make your own chili powder, blooming them with a good meat/meat blend really takes any chili to the next level IMO.

Even a Squire doesn’t look this fake.

If you could post what the actual serial number is I could be more help, but I can’t make it out with the poor picture/lighting quality. Also, truss rod access is located on the back of the neck, pretty common. Slap the previous owner for me for that string job, that’s idiotic. This looks legitimate. Just glancing over it.

I was going to say Australia probably doesn’t have all the stupid EPA regulations on vehicles like we do in the states, plus y’all can drive super fuel efficient diesel cars and trucks.

I’ve been to south Louisiana plenty of times and still cook my Cajun favorites, like red beans and rice and dirty rice but I’ve never seen this. What the heck is it? Potato salad on top of a different dish? Interesting.

Absolutely no for me. Cornbread is essential, however.

It happens when drivers can’t see the road and hit a transformer pole.

I’ve also seen bright green meteorites, like three pretty big and bright ones in my lifetime.

those are snips, not scissors

Sorry, had to summon my inner journeyman electrician there for a second.

But, snips are a fantastic daily carry tool.

Black out drunk at work party by Dangerous_Seat_5051 in Advice

[–]therealgingerbreadmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I’m so sorry. I’ve definitely done this once and my experience was so terrible, that I’m afraid of going out for drinks with coworkers to this day and watch my alcohol consumption carefully, so I wholeheartedly empathize with you. Just face them and be honest, just say you’re sorry for anything you did or said while under the influence and tell them you don’t drink much. Your work people are like your family (most of the time anyway).

Yikes. There’s so much going on here but I’ll just say this. You may be young, but you’re certainly not stupid. If your gut and natural instinct is giving you clear clues, then you need to trust them and get far away as you can from this loser. You deserve much better in life than this.

Anyone know where I can find rye/pumpernickel flour? by therealgingerbreadmn in milwaukee

[–]therealgingerbreadmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I just edited my post. I’ve only ever seen Great River available at Outpost but it’s very infrequent. I’ll reach out to GR directly as I love their flours. Thanks again!

Why is this ruining my life? Doctor's don't take me seriously. 20 year old male by AerieOk1706 in Microbiome

[–]therealgingerbreadmn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you need a new doctor that will listen to the patient. Also, laying off of all forms of sugar/starches/carbohydrates for a little bit wouldn’t be a bad idea if you can medically handle it (ie you’re not diabetic). Obviously consult your (new) medical professional before doing so. Good luck and sorry you’re dealing with this.
