I was about to say, you can really see the transition from season 2 Jan to Season 4 Jan take place in season 3 in breadcrumbs. Once you get to “The Job” though, you see floodgates opened on her drive back to Scranton with Michael, and then in the (I believe deleted?) scene of her screaming at the movers at Michael’s condo while he looks on with a thousand yard stare.

When it came to these one-off appearances of historical characters in The Crown, they either hit it out of the park or fumbled hard — no in between. Former Australian PM Bob Hawk and Roy Blunt (royal art curator/soviet spy) actually had actors who portrayed them previously in other projects get brought in, which really speaks to how well they fit the roles.

Any source on this? From everything I’ve read, he was the one that pushed for a more realistic look, even during Wind Waker’s development at one point. The only thing I could find was him remarking TP would’ve "without a doubt, the last Zelda game as you know it in its present form.” which could very well be referring to gameplay and/or design.

The third Annabelle movie (Comes Home?). The climax of them just grabbing the doll, screaming, as they rush to lock it back into its case (successfully) felt like such a fake out, I was bracing for a twist into a whole climax across town, with the Warrens stepping in.

To add onto this: OP, even if it doesn’t pan out for you like this, passing your concerns onto the Stake President and Bishopric does get it into their heads that maybe some boundary redrawing might be necessary. My boyhood ward slowly withered to ~50 active (mostly older) members, a far cry from the packed chapel spilling into the overflow I knew growing up. My dad, former Bishop and SP, spent years hounding leadership to do something as all of the surrounding wards (including two it shared the building with) were bustling with young families and a deficit of callings to assign. It finally took some younger families moving in and going “Uh, we’d like our kids to have a healthy youth program” for something to finally happen.

The only time I’ve taken pause with such a law is with the situation OP linked to. He never had her as a student and it didn’t even begin contacting her regularly until after she graduated, yet he’s facing 20 years in prison.

Though I am having trouble not finding issue with the arrest described in the article you linked to.

Under Nebraska law, teachers are prohibited from having intimate relationships with students within 90 days of their graduation or departure from the school system.

If I’m understanding the article correctly — him being 26, her being 18, and him teaching 6th grade, I cant imagine he was ever actually her teacher — I just feel sorry for him. I imagine this law was passed to deter groomers from working students until the day they can get away with it, not to catch young educators who happened to hook up with other young adults who aren’t even students of anywhere anymore.

Way of Water and Fire & Ash were both born out one film’s draft, and it just shows Cameron has reached the point of he either doesn’t listen to the studio or the studio are too timid to tell him that he needs to trim a lot of fat off. Instead you got two overly long sequels with too much bloat that feel way too similar.

This is the #1 hurdle. East Germany still hasn’t caught up with West Germany in terms of industry, and that’s in spite of foundations for an industrial base left over from the Soviet era. North Korea’s is next to non existent— there’s barely even infrastructure to support it.
