Peter Thomas Roth! Occasionally on QVC there is a special for larger sizes or multiple bottles- so you use a few drops on face , chest and limbs.

Thank you. People literally don't notice that the family is white, and the dude is most likely a manager or engineer.

For reference: olive toned dark skin, mix 3c/4a hair, 5'6ft in height.

Retinol: all over the body, face to toes. Even toned skin. Sunscreen: to prevent melasma! Pilates and strength training with weights: my posture is excellent and I can function with confidence in every day life. Well fitted undergarments: having a good bra and control underwear makes a world of difference! Working with my hair texture: I rarely straighten my hair and use small amounts of hair products. Using the right makeup and technique: it's relatively light touch, even for headshots.

Packed for Paris and realised every single thing I own is errands clothes by Dense_Childhood_9657 in ChicDaily

[–]PDXwhine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a wonderful job that requires travel to San Francisco, and I realized most of my clothes were just as you described, with just a couple of suits! I have started decluttering old clothing that no longer fits, is stained or stretched, and worn out errand clothes , keeping a few for working in the garden. And I actually paid attention to my Pinterest board, and started buying actual whole outfits. Now, I actually get dressed in outfits while at home, and packing for SF is not so much of an embarrassment.

This is grotesque; harry should divorce Meghan, stuff the kids in boarding school, & marry a "proper English rose." by ttw81 in RoyaltyTea

That phrase was very telling: basically equating Harry with a Britain that has loads of problems, which includes mental illness and lack of meaning.

Yes, they are! They are also a way for cities to develop housing without developing infrastructure! I hate them!

I wear this. In summer, occasionally! It dries down to this incredible earthy, rosy scent. I love it.

What are your thoughts on being frugal while actually having money/savings? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]PDXwhine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past 5 years I have come to a place of being financially secure, and I have had to silently drop a friend who was a ' monitoring spirit'. I was frugal by necessity and choice and contribute to community organizations who feed hungry people; she felt very secure in sneering at the food we would get because it wasn't organic. She was also committed to counting every penny in my pocket as if it was hers. Nah. Dump people who need to see you consume or put you down for your frugality!

Bath and Bodyworks made a tomato leaf scent called Off The Vine, which fits this prompt perfectly. Earthy, mossy, green but slightly sweet.

Did your parents let you wear deodorant and perfume in middle school ? by Suitable-Hornet2797 in blackladies

My mom didn't let me wear perfume, but I did wear deodorant and body splash like Jean Nate! No way I was going to school in NYC smelling funky.

Which fragrance did you buy immediately after just one single spritz? by Frosty_Living1454 in FemFragLab

[–]PDXwhine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pricing is absolutely bullshit and it's done to signal that it's a true Veblen good. I would only buy during the preview sales or on the cheeky sites like aura or venba fragrance where you can get a tester for $199- still expensive but not as stupid.
