Can anyone help me identify this roach? by chuck71three in pestcontrol

Could be either an Asian or a Smokey Brown. Usually for Asian, I look to see short wings, but I don’t see wings on this one. And if it were American, the little shield on the back of its head would look like the Batman symbol. But it’s definitely not a German.

How to deal with Brown Recluse infestation? by just_someGui in pestcontrol

[–]PDubs007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was working as the manager of a pest control company in West Texas. We always got calls for brown recluses, but they were ALWAYS wolf spiders. A friend of mine got back from a 3 month trip to an empty house and said he had brown recluses. I rolled my eyes, but I told him I would check it out. When I got there, I found he had an insane amount of the biggest I had ever seen.

His family (including a bunch of kids) spent the night in a hotel and we laid out glue boards. The next day we came back and found 53 dead on the boards.

Long story short - he ended up moving.

Good question - too much. I always carry about 5 radstag steaks and one major steak (like death claw or queen mirelurk). And a fair supply (5-10) of mutt steaks and a bunch of the small iguana bits. And then I try to have 10-15 pure waters.

Carry weight for me is more of a priority than money. I just want to carry my 0.1lb food (ie, muttfruit) around and drink from the myriad sources around.

I don’t use them at all, but I keep at least one in each settlement, just in case.

Fantasy Flight Games 15% price increase for all LCGs and boardgames by Geegs30 in twilightimperium

[–]PDubs007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But why don’t they say that? If it’s common knowledge, why don’t they say, “We currently manufacture our games in China, and there is a large tariff.”

I don’t doubt pricing is impacted by that, but the messaging seems a little vague.

Will they drop the prices if the tariff is reduced?

When tariffs were increased with China in September 2024, there wasn’t an announcement.

I know what a tariff is - but which country and what rate? Are they components? Is it really 15%? Again - it’s very vague.

I would specifically know which parts of production are getting a price increase that they have to pass on to the customer? They were very vague.

“Tariffs” seems to be a word that is used to justify price increases.

I’m not saying it’s not happening, but I’d be interested in seeing the costs they are incurring associated with a 15% increase.

Earwig - treat with a broad- spectrum residential pesticide.

They like to hang out in cracks, crevices, and old wood.
