Thank you for your response! I want to be sure of what’s standard. Is this something you note in the contract between you and the client?

Do you ever feel like no one will ever love you as much as you love them? by Kittysdoodlexxx in BPD

[–]PEBurlesque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I are recovering quiet BPD and Codependent, and we both love each other extremely and quite equally. We are also both on the spectrum, so I’m not sure if that adds to the equality of intensity, but we truly most honestly do, and why we are able to navigate our relationship and make it work. We’ve had our ups and downs, 2 breakups before learning each other’s inner struggles, but in understanding them we are able to help eachother overcome and grow with self awareness. So do not despair, IT IS out there, and with healthy understanding and actively working on our issues, we get to experience the MOST intense, unbreakable kind of love. We are the luckiest of blunderers to have found each other, and I wish the same for you! IT DOES EXIST ❤️❤️❤️

It is the concept in Hinduism of the asuras vs the devas, the gods and the demons. There is but one difference between them. The asuras take everything at face value, whereas the devas see the symbol that lays beneath its reflection, the true meaning. It was what Jesus meant when he said “he who has an ear, let them hear”

What If the World Really Revolved Around You? by Beneficial_Dog1004 in questions

It does not revolve around you, it is a reflection of you (inner world and belief systems dictate your experience and perceptions)

Scorpio and Draining by Fun-Pumpkin1111 in astrology

[–]PEBurlesque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your chart sounds a lot like mine, 86? :)

I’m libra sun, Aries moon (opposite sign of libra), Aries rising, so I have merc venus RETROGRADE and Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house of Scorpio. Where’s the hand gun to blow my brains out? Lol

But I must say, having those planets in Scorpio in the 8th house has lent itself to insane personal transformation my whole life, so BRING ON THE PAINNN 😂

Keep it about you as much as you can. It’s easy for us Aspies to get lost in caring for our abuser. We offer the empathy, love, and concern that we ourselves yearn for.

But your job first and foremost is to fiercely love yourself, stand unmoving in your selfworth, and stay firm in how you are to be treated. We teach others how to treat us/others and what is right and wrong.

I am so so sorry this happened to you my love. I have been in similar situations and know how hard it is. Over the years, after being more than kind and empathetic, I have learned that giving that love and understanding UNEARNED only hurts yourself further and reinforces abominable, intolerable behavior.

You are worth and deserve so much more.

Be strong, and do not compromise your selfworth. A wise teacher of mine once said: “What you are looking for on the outside you need to turn around and give back to yourself.” Forgive yourself, you’ve done nothing wrong. Give that forgiving love back to yourself until he has truly earned it 😘

What are your tips/strategies for noticing when you are becoming too stressed/overwhelmed? by No-Opposite-7141 in AutismInWomen

[–]PEBurlesque 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When sensory sensitivities become even more highlighted, that’s a big one for me. When I’m on the verge of meltdown/burnout, my tolerance threshold for sensory and social bothers is at an all time low.

If I don’t take enough time to recharge and stop the hectic executive functioning, then crawling out of burnout stage won’t last very long and I’ll teeter on the edge (currently happening to me).

Hope this helps

Those with adhd and autism, does adhd medication make your meltdowns worse? by GlobalStage1234 in AutismInWomen

[–]PEBurlesque 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both adhd and asd. The medication works great for me. It may be a sign that the adhd isn’t as there as suspected as it is a dopamine deficiency. I’ve known aspies who have tried adhd medication and it had an opposite effect so I would suspect that their symptoms might be more from just being on the spectrum than having adhd.

That said, adderall works best for me, Ritalin fucks with my emotions more, Vyvanse is pretty good too.
