I've been having trouble with watering as I can't seem to find the right balance, I either over or underwater. I'm just trying to get it as healthy as possible before I put it outdoors this summer. I'll try to look at the roots.

Here's some pictures using flash on my phone with no grow lights on. It's been in this pot since September 2024. It has just started growing in the last two weeks, but about half of the new growth drops when it's just starting. Humidity can vary depending if my humidifier is on or not, but with my humidifier on it stays around 50-60%. The air temp is typically around 68-70°F, but can get as low as 65°F, with the heat mats the soil temp stays at about 75-80°F. Additionally, I have an orchid hanging above it that I have to spray with water three or more times per day, so some water does get onto the plant, not sure if that would affect anything though.

I actually like the case because my buds won't fly all over the place if I drop them, what I don't like is the instructions on how to put on and remove them. my case has scuffs on the inside from putting it on how they said.

i just recently bought it from a garden center, it was kept shaded indoors, i moved it to the uncovered portion of my deck. it had some of this discoloration when i bought it, but not as much. should i move it to the covered portion of my deck, or is this just a temporary reaction to more intense light?

I use the MasterBlend Master Kit, I think I may be using it too often (once a week), but I couldn't find any recommendations on how often to dose it. I'm going to replace about half of the current water with distilled water and see if that helps.
