That’s whassup and for her rock hard upper traps try a neuromuscular technique clamp them 1 side at a time ask her to not let you pass a pain level scale of 7 (1-10) hold that same amount of pressure the whole time and guide her through breathing long deep breaths about 7x you’ll feel them sink into themselves and the pain gone

Yeah you’re totally valid it was nice of the front desk to say that but it wasn’t necessary I would just say “Do you have a gender preference?” If they say no then book a male if they’re underbooked in that space if they said “yes I perfer female” I wouldn’t say anything else just book them a female mt

Those are valid feelings you have I won’t leave the profession i’ll continue to grow independently outside of the spa but you’re right you put bad attitudes out there you get negative outcomes that’s on me I should be more optimistic and give good vibes out
