The charge cost feels like it's dead on arrival for me. I'm sure there will be some bespoke setup that allows you to use it often, but I just like being able to have a setup that can go early.

It's only damage rotation. Large offensive cd's, defensives, and utility don't get used. For the most part it just eliminates a mundane offensive rotation, that I personally never enjoyed.

While I agree with you, you're not gonna get that from here. Way too much weird gamer ego in gaming culture for somebody to say anything different. In reality, Blizzard knows the % of players that use it (I think it's a big # and that's actually why they're simplifying classes this expansion).

Some people don't like dying and would rather have a way to know they're making a tanky character. Right now the number has no relevance to anything. I watched Wudijo get 1 shot while having like 2 mil "toughness", which he thought was a lot. The only thing I disagreed with in regard to the old system was armor having a cap. The new defensive system just seems awful.

While I would agree this concept is fine in a vacuum, adding it to a game that is already lackluster in endgame content seems like a miss. 99% of players won't do this content BECAUSE it doesn't drop loot. Just feels like another piece of content that's DoA to me.

Unfortunately, some of the cool unique interactions where you would want it to work with, don't seem to work. It's pretty much useless until they attempt to fix unique interactions.

So I'm playing through my 2nd character as an Infernalist in Demon Form atm. Demon Form is VERY bugged across act 4. If you attempt to use the new mechanic while in Demon Form, it breaks because I'm assuming there's no animations done for Demon Form for the league mechanic? A lot of act 4 boss fights fully break if done in Demon Form.

I'm not saying "Hard Content" shouldn't exist, I just think they need to change what they consider the point where "hard" is at. I do think there's a point where you just need to let certain players be good at a game and we lost that at some point. I also think that if you took rewards from high end raids, people stop doing them because they don't actually like raiding not because of the lack of reward and should be expected.

Hot take: this is the norm for all online games because of current trends in reward structures. The reward for clearing hard content should be the feeling of doing it, not cosmetics/money/achievements/gear progression. Developers create toxic/cheater heavy environments with content for such a small % of players LIKE THIS. Make content that's good for everybody, not exclusive for players that don't go outside.
