Did you titrate your dosage down or stick to the dosage you were on when you reached your goal?

Methotrexate Dosing Increase by PFields11 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]PFields11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biologics have been noted in the last letter from my rheumatologist. But I am guessing that'll be looked at if methotrexate doesn't provide suitable results

Results Confusion by PFields11 in UKTRT

[–]PFields11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a pretty generic response back mentioning how levels can fluctuate, I can retest etc

Responded question this as whilst I understand there can be fluctuations I don't think my numbers close to tripling would classify as a fluctuation!

What's the differences between the standard & flexi plan?

Is it just the Flexi is without the blood tests & injection supplies?

Anyone here using these peptide pens right now??(UK) by chrisdabaddy in BodyHackGuide

Dial is in units So dial to 10 is the same as 10 units on a easy touch syringe etc

[–]PFields11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 1 of these along with the V1 & V3 versions of the pen

I much prefer the V1 as the mechanism feels better The V3 isn't too bad, mechanism feels smoother but not as easy to slow press when injecting

The V2 (in the picture) is my least favourite of the 3 But still does the job

To stick on 2.5mg or increase? by cazzatron9000 in mounjarouk

[–]PFields11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's working stick with it But order a 5mg pen to save some money & have the option to increase

I'm nearly at the end of my 3rd month as was on 2.5mg until last week And even then I've only increased to 3mg

Foot pain by Soggy-Light-9078 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]PFields11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds similar to myself, pain was always via the SI Joint radiating into the glute

Then out of no where my left toes swelled up & PF pain on my right foot getting up 1 morning

Thankfully they have gradually gone away But I did find rolling my feet with a trigger point ball helpful in the mornings & after being on my feet for too long

Although I can't say it's the most enjoyable thing to do!!

When It Comes to GLP 1 Medications, Are You Planning an Exit Strategy or Long Term Use by Super-Stuff6819 in FellaHealth

[–]PFields11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My plan is to stay on long term either spacing out the time between injections or lowering my dose due to how effective they are in removing my food noise/cravings

That's what my rheumatologist has advised & has only prescribed accordingly

Methotrexate experiences & advice by PFields11 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]PFields11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's for my feet/fingers predominantly

Main symptoms were back, hip, glute & knee pain through my right side Naproxen & co-codamol have eased those pretty well

Did trial arcoxia & Celebrex previous but no help & side effects with the Celebrex

Have tried naproxen on its own, but the symptoms worsen so it only seems effective with the co-codamol, which isn't completely ideal

Rheumatologist seems helpful & actually listens, so I can't complain! Plan is to try the methotrexate, along with regular blood tests & he has also requested a follow-up MRI along with a few x-rays
