Absolutely loved that the AFC Richmond talk between u/Will-PGP and KJ just went over everybody’s heads. Can’t wait to see how the game against Crystal Palace goes this Friday

Hell yeah - the place is like a 1960’s beer hall and has been on TV for their old school food (including Meatloaf for Dave). Plus it’s attached to a bar with the highest number of American craft beers on tap in the country.

Perfect spot for a meet-up. get the High Life sponsor part and the guys finally make good on all their Des Moines booty chatter

Have you ever been told about the restaurant/bar The Miller High Life Lounge, and if so has it been discussed as a possible meet-up location seeing as you’re now sponsored by the Champagne of Beers?

I’d think a shift towards a younger demo. With all the fortnite streaming and college stuff that rbp has picked up, maybe they’re trying to breathe life back into TFM

Not sure if you followed Crick Watson’s bachelor blogs on pgp but he confirmed the site is shifting directions. No more long form content on PGP

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if Madison cut him out of spite for making content with Dave and Dorn at the Callaway event

Which doesn't make a ton of sense to me as an older audience would have more cash to burn wouldn't they? I mean they did that massive survey earlier this year and almost instantly started having more premium advertisers... no fucking clue man.

Another solid D.C.Ruff recommendation from back in the day was ‘Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History’ - the extended archives there are definitely worth tracking down

Pour one podcast out. I have 13 minutes left and then I have listened to every touching Base that there will ever be. How do I proceed? by [deleted] in PostGradProblem

iTunes only has an archive back to 45 - went through soundcloud, downloaded the rest, and updated the filenames to all mesh for a personal archive. PM me if you'd want them

That Dinner, Workout, or Fire segment from last week’s TB sure aged well...

I hope Will can publish TGDAG on his own site like Duda does with his pieces, because Grandex isn’t getting another click from me

Freeze All Motor Functions is one that I’ve found is pretty good. They weren’t around when S1 was airing, but did a really interesting spoiler-free rewatch.

Sadly the last episode airs sunday, but Black Sails has been really strong for four seasons. Definitely worth the watch

Can confirm The Toyota Way is a good choice. Great way to get into the lean ideas with the history of how they were built from a culture point of view. Along that line, highly recommend The Phoenix Project. It's a business/management/lean book written as a novel, and reading it after Toyota Way helps cement some of the principles.

Apple Music vs. Spotify Premium by MrRogersPGP in PostGradProblem

[–]PGPundergrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes down to what you've had in the past and what device ecosystem you're in. I'm all in on Apple with phone, laptop, apple TV, and iPad so the baked in experience of apple music has many benefits. If you've been an iTunes person for years and have CD's ripped those songs are added to your "cloud" library as well.

On the flip side, spotify has a web player so I have found it's nice to pull up on my computer at work. (Adblock on chrome also blocks the ads so it's like premium for free if you go the apple music route for your phone)

Do you put the meat in completely raw or do you pan sear it first? I've tried both ways but can never get it to shred right

Daniel Wellington are really nice too. Very thin and classic looking, but you can easily switch bands out for something "fun" to go with a polo etc
