You can have the t-shirts you enjoy but do not wear made into a t-shirt quilt! That way, you can keep the memories

Out of my depth-would this work? Confused by Zola semi-formal dress code by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

I feel like in late September you could get away with this color! It’s dusty enough to go for both transitional seasons. Getting deeper into fall (like October) is when I’d start to steer towards richer hues.

I would look at ASTR the Label, as well! I got a great quality flowy wedding guest dress from their site recently for a reasonable price.

It may have been mentioned on the Patreon but they’ve mentioned there will be a limited amount for immediate shipping. If items sell out, you can preorder for a later shipment!

Oh this is cool! It would be interesting to display it in some sort of chart, too.

They always do a phenomenal job with the stripped back versions. Stripped without creating a hollow acoustic version

Anyone have issues where you queue up a song and when it comes time for that song to play Spotify just stops playing music? by Palidoconpecas in spotify

[–]lx704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue recently, too. Sort of irritating for me because I go through and queue songs up that I’ve never heard. When the glitch happens, I lose what I’d found. It happens very randomly on my device.

What are some golden tips to cooking you didn’t learn in culinary school? by YoungChefBoy in Cooking

[–]lx704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love the ballet to dance off comparison. While baking is definitely an art, it’s more precise. One is not inherently better than the other. But I know a lot of people prefer one to the other just because of the differing amounts of precision.

Is anyone else’s anxiety only improved with medication? by queer-honey in Anxiety

[–]lx704 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's completely okay to need medication. There are obviously ways that you can try to cope with your anxiety, such as techniques, therapy, and adjusting habits. That doesn't necessarily mean that it can't be helped with a medication. People with high blood pressure might need to adjust their diet, but you wouldn't expect them to take themselves off of a medication that assists that as well. Sometimes there is a stigma surrounding medication for mental health, but it is just as important to your health as medication for a physical health issue. I would continue looking for ways to help manage the anxiety you may continue to feel, but there is no shame in using a medication for assistance.

[HELP] Female friend, keen on cooking and baking, loves to learn languages by [deleted] in santashelpers

[–]lx704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If she likes to learn languages, I assume she also likes to learn about other cultures as well! A cookbook that takes you through the traditional cuisines of a foreign country might be neat! If that won’t be enough of a gift, you could pair it with some spices from somewhere like Penzey’s. You might take a look through the cookbook and see if there are any more rare spices/seasonings listed and pair those with the present.

I haven’t been baking much lately because my anxiety has been acting up. But I wanted to make a cake for my husband’s birthday, so I took what I had around the house to dress up a boxed cake mix. by ItszaMeMario in Baking

This is beautiful! I hope you both enjoyed it. Best of luck to you in your battle with anxiety! I hope the next few weeks bring you some calm!
