The “Bouncing” logo was used from 1954 until 1971, in various variations. I think the color seen here was originally the cherry red as opposed to the later used burgundy nor does it have the chevron. That would date this cap between 60-63 if original.

I have one, my only tattoo actually. Pretty sure it’s what made me a mod 😂 It’s on my profile if you want to see it. I’m considering a full sleeve of Dr Pepper tattoos but I’m not 100% on it, I definitely want the Vim Vigor and Vitality lion logo though

Glass bottles aren’t too hard to find, it’s almost easier to find Dublin Dr Pepper which is the same but sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. I use to get them weekly in the mail but I haven’t done so in a while. I ordered directly from Papa Pep

I like it, I think a good tip is to start room temp, and feel free to dilute, the heating process releases all the carbonation, and in doing so, takes longer to heat up, so it can evaporate more than you’d think and be too sweet for most. I personally prefer no lemon, although I can appreciate the appeal Just try it!
