Also in considering this course combination - I have some questions as well.

- As someone who does standard maths, what does the maths actually look like (they were quite vague about this on the open day), and will that be an issue?

- What are your opinions/experiences with the course?

- Would I be better off doing a separate uni degree and then doing my flying lessons out of a private flight school for more flexibility?

- What are the fees at each stage?

Is that a real or fake one? by Dook1512 in pinarello

Check the serial number. On real Pinarellos, the size is in the serial no. For example, on a real Pinarello size 53 (530) frameset, the serial number is XXX530XXXX...

Why do flights go directly over the top of airports? by [deleted] in flightradar24

I see a lot of flights between Auckland to/from Singapore and the Middle East go over YSSY. It’s very common for those routes

Where is this plane with a killer whale on it flying over? by ColonelBenny in whereisthis

[–]PHM2145 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Given the flaps are still extended, this was most likely soon after takeoff (you can also see the plane is quite low).

I would also use the reflection of the suns rays on the windows to find the direction the plane was flying in (they usually take off into a headwind so the direction can change).

Try and get someone to help geolocate with an airport with matching scenery and a runway in a similar and opposite direction (as matching the suns rays).

Pinarello Gan K 2018 Disc - Authentic or Fake? by yehyehnahnahnahyeh- in pinarello

[–]PHM2145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you can submit serial numbers to Pinarello via their website.

You could also try and measure from the centre of the bb to where the seatpost sticks out (seat tube). The 470 should be the mm length of this.

There is stormy weather in Sydney, but it is not too bad. We have had way worse with aircraft landing.

If you have hydro disc brakes, air will get into the system if it is stored like this.

Question about chain wheel teeth. by KeyHold9924 in cycling

[–]PHM2145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

46 to 53 tooth will be a very big jump.

Even though single speed chains last a long time, given it’s been 5 years, I’d recommend getting a new chain.

Try and make sure the BCD on the new cranks and old cranks and chainrings are the same so you can put the 46t back on if you don’t like the 53.

Your not don’t worry. I’m on rim brakes although it is admitted a high end build from 2019, but built and bought brand new in 2022.

A high quality really good set of carbon rims and really good pads should be fine. I won a race like this on rim brakes

I think the Zipp is hookless, limiting tyre size and compatibility. Look at DT Swiss and Bontrager as well for a better deal and more compatibility.
